I remember working retail one Christmas and seeing the dolls for the first time. It was my first experience with the franchise, as I'm not exactly the target audience for it ^_^ Anyways, I thought they were pretty cool and strangely pretty hot too... Yep, I'll admit it. 

Anyways, the earlier Monsterhearts comment reminded me of wanting to play The Ghost in that, so I'd probably make a ghost-boy. I am considering other options though, especially as I'd likely play my character as Beast Boy in persona, being the loveably roguish class trickster guy.

I'm open to suggestions for names.  If anyone doesn't notice or isn't aware at all, most of the characters in Monster High are a pun or play-on-words when it comes to their name.  If I make this an import of a preexisting character from other mediums I've played, she would keep the name of Hayami Umiko (surname, given name).  She will be a transfer student and somewhat embody the concept of a glutton with a sweet tooth, meaning she'll always be seen eating some sort of candy or sweet food like cake.  Umiko is a polite and obliging girl with interests in cooking, baking and being on the school newsletter.  Her 'bushin-chan' (alter ego), however, is a mean-spirited prankster that takes control when Umiko is asleep.

As you can likely assume, there's a power struggle going on between them all the time.  When Umiko's asleep, she'll always be waking up to something unfortunate.

I'm making a nerdy Gorgon girl whose glasses have a magical protection on them so that she doesn't turn people to stone by accident.  She's sort of introverted and has a secret crush on the famous monsters, i.e. the parents of some of the other students, like Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, the Wolfman and the Mummy.  She has pictures of them on her bedroom walls like boyband posters, and she writes embarrassing fan fiction with herself as an OC.  -giggles.-

Looks like a lot of fun. Since others are throwing out character ideas I thought it'd be fun to go with an extra thick minotaur/bull girl. She's a bit comically aloof, and she's definitely not the brightest bulb in the pack, but she's super strong and doesn't afraid of anything! I was thinking of going with Bullinda Holstein for her punny name.

Okay, I found a picture I absolutely love for a trans character.  I just have to figure out a good monster for them.

Obviously it'll have to be one of the less obvious monsters, so something like werewolf, ghost, vampire.  There's this interesting Brazilian monster called an Encantado that's a dolphin which can shapeshift into human form.

Hmmm...maybe some kind of desert spirit? There's also an African myth of storm queens/goddesses that they could fit into pretty well. Oya being a storm/wind goddess and Modjadji being "Rain Queens", women thought capable of controlling the weather. They're actually the basis for the X-men character Storm, and why she's depicted as African with snow white hair, similiar to your picture, so it seemed like it could fit that way.

Due to a mixture of regular training, but high fat diet, Bullinda is oddly chubby in certain places yet also muscular in others, giving her body a strange mix of soft and firmness. Atop her head sits fiery red hair, her bangs hanging down to frame her golden amber eyes. Her more monstrous traits take the form of her large horns, bull-like ears, and a short tail (as well as her massive tits as some would jokingly add).

Beastly Strength: Being a minotaur Bullinda is appropriately as strong as...well...a bull. With her genes and personal training combined she is currently as strong as most professional body builders, and hits as hard as a sledge hammer

Thick Build: Bullinda's skin and bones are much thicker and stronger than your average human's (though the top layers of skin are still quite soft to the touch), allowing her to endure much harder impacts without pain or injury.

Endurance: Despite being overweight Bullinda carries herself quite easily, and is able to perform strenuous activities for extended lengths without getting tired.

Boxing: Bullinda's main hobby and sport of choice. She's trained to be a boxer since middle school, and is quite skilled at it. Due to her minotaur traits she's strong and tough enough to compete in matches against male monsters without handicaps.

Encyclopedic Knowledge of Cooking: Despite not being particularly smart or studious, Bullinda posses a near savant level of insight when it comes to the matter of food. Everything from cooking techniques, to historical factoids, even scientific breakdowns of how different cooking methods affect different ingredients. However despite this knowledge she isn't actually all that great a cook herself, mostly because her hands are made for punching, and aren't really nimble or coordinated enough to work most utensils.

Ago is an ectomorph, making her a petite young woman with long appendages and a small physique.  Although, she isn't lacking in feminine curvature albeit barely.  From the neck up, one is graced with an angular visage bearing exotic, East-Asian features with an adorable set of dimples when smiling.  The most obvious feature is her hair, however, cascading down to her knees in thick, brunette strands of velvety-textured tendrils.  If the length and texture wasn't enough to make it distinctive, it is in constant, subtle movement and hides a terrifying secret.  That secret is a grotesque maw of jagged teeth with a slimy, long prehensile tongue.

She is normally seen in one of two styles of attire, dictated by which of two personalities is in control.  If Ago is in control, she dresses in sensible, casual clothing that favors comfort.  In contrast, whenever 'bushin-chan' is in control, she dresses in an incredibly liberal style that always features a lack of footwear.  In both personalities, she is seen eating candy or something sweet at all times

Personality:
Ago is a polite young woman that's easily excitable over new things, often using the word 'jawesome' to express it.  Quirky is another word that aptly describes her, however, there is a noticeable aversion to any sense of conflict or competition.  During those times, she seems to always be timid and apprehensive.  Above all else, cooking, baking or anything that deals with food is an instant uplift for Ago's mood.  When 'bushin-chan' assumes control, she becomes a spiteful delinquent that has no concept of shame, consequence or moderation.

• Inconsequential Gluttony:  Ago is able to eat without any fear of gaining weight.  Her unique physiology enables a long-term sustainability without eating as well, as much of the digestion is delegated to bushin-chan.
• Comakinesis:  Ago is able to mentally manipulate her hair including, but not limited to: stretching, braiding, grabbing, shortening and more.
• Culinary Savant:  Not only is it her passion, but her symbiotic relationship with bushin-chan has bestowed Ago with an uncanny intuition with food, be it prepping, tasting or otherwise.
