Xiann'Ani Kyristavael, Drow Assassin

Xiann is a fine example of what the drow hold dear. She is agile, clever and beautiful. An orphan of what passes for political reformation amongst her people, she was sold into the care of the Qos'Jesshc, or Dread Fangs in common, a renowned Guild of assassins and spies. The Qos'Jesshc training is hard, often fatal, and so they often buy young drow to be trained in groups, of which only one in eight makes it all the way through training. Xiann was the only one in a group of twelve, however, killing her only remaining rival during the bloody final rite of her graduation.

Trained her whole life to be a hired-knife, Xiann has a diverse repertoire of knowledge and skills. Not enough to make her an expert on anything, really, but the Qos'Jesshc train their members with enough to let them fake their way through most covers they might try to implement during the course of a contract. In large part, it's the skill of deflection, of clever word-play to redirect questions without arousing suspicion, and skilled acting, that allows them to deceive their foes and infiltrate their ranks when a more direct stealthy approach is impractical.

After graduation, Xiann was released of her debt to her Guild, becoming a full member whereas the trainees are little more than slaves. Capable of earning gold for both herself and her Guild, she chose to take a place on the surface world, a bold move for a young assassin, but a profitable one if successful. Xiann has been quite successful, now holding a fair reputation of her own, putting her talents more and more in demand with each contract she completes.

Description:

Xiann is a gorgeous example of her people, a petite 5'1” and lithe. She wears her straight hair short, locks of a pale metallic somewhere between silver and platinum framing her beautiful face in a sharp bob. Her red eyes sparkle with malicious intelligence under a delicate brow. She as a small mouth, though with full, sensuous lips that are naturally a shade of dark purple.

Xiann's figure is lean and athletic, like a dancer, with the midnight black skin of a drow that has seen the sun, it's natural, slightly shiny gloss as though it's been oiled giving her the definition that would be lost were her skin matte black. Naturally hairless save for her eyebrows and the hair on her head, Xiann is free from any blemish or other unsightly feature that would detract from the loveliness of her dark complexion. She has small breasts, modest, perky little mounds just big enough to allow her to have a little cleavage in the right kind of tight top. Her legs are long and perfectly toned, easily her best feature, and Xiann dresses to show them off whenever she can.

Personality:

Outwardly to most surface dwellers, Xiann is probably what they all imagined a drow assassin to be like. She's quiet, always subtly menacing, and dangerously sexy. She tends to play up to the 'brand', sticking with cold, glaring looks and affecting a posture suggestive of a predator on the prowl. This is really just one act among many, since a drow on the surface can't easily hide, it is often instead played up, so as to establish a stark contrast for when an assassin does choose to don a disguise in order to gain access to a target.

In reality, when she's relaxed and not playing one role or another, she's actually almost fun. Fun in a drow way, perhaps, meaning she laughs at bloodsports, and still serious about her work and keeping her skills sharp, but she enjoys just relaxing, having a drink and sharing conversation. Of course, Xiann is a bit of a hedonist, as most drow are, the only real limit being that her general distaste for the 'inferior races' keeps her from showing that side to most surface dwellers.
