Terre Haute, Indiana
Between January and June of 2016, the entire population of the city of Terre Haute, IN was infected and replaced by body-snatchers. Joint Task Force Van Helsing troops assaulted the city on 4 July 2016 and are believed to have exterminated the entire monster population there. It is still a quarantine zone.
The Terre Haute outbreak was the worst monster attack in the United States since the first months of the invasion in 2006. Conspiracy theorists claim it resulted from a government-backed teratology research project gone wrong.
