Advanced Trump Artistry
What Maddy and Maple have accomplished is nowhere near the limit of what is possible with the cards.
Advanced Trump Artistry costs 60 points, or 30 points for a character who already knows Basic Trump Artistry. As is generally the case, it can be broken down into partial powers. A character must know all the powers of Basic Trump Artistry before learning any partial powers of Advanced Trump Artistry.
Powers from the Amber Core Book
Trump Jamming, Trump Memory, Trump Gate, Trump Spying and Trump Trap each cost 5 points as partial powers.
Unmaking Trump
Partial Cost: 5 points
This ability allows the artist to render a Trump inoperable, breaking the connection between it and its subject and causing it to lose all the qualities of a Trump. This is handled as the equivalent of a Psyche contest between the artist attempting to unmake the Trump and the artist that created it. If the attacker succeeds, the Trump may no longer be used as such and in fact is no longer a Trump. The artist who created the Trump will be aware that it has been unmade.
Exalted Trump Artistry
The power of images may be deeper than anyone knows. Those who truly delve into the secrets of the cards can develop talents even beyond what is listed above. Nothing of such powers will be revealed at this time.
