Description
Tall, lean, muscled, very aerodynamic, by his standards anyway, screw the laws of physics that say that mercs don't fly. Tanned white skin, flat knuckled, rugged good looks marred by a handful of scars that disfigure his face distinctly. Reddish-Brown hair and beard, piercing grey-blue eyes (depends on the lighting, ladies love it).
Usually gravitating towards black and red (His favorite colors) Due to his disfiguration, he usually wears a mask despite a handful of surgeries making his face a tad more normal.
Personality
Quirky, funny, always having a good pun, joke or limerick up his sleeve. Also, may be slightly psychotic and sadistic. Depending on the mood that you catch him in, and on how lucky you happen to be, both. A quick thinker and an expert tactician and a master of the art of talking without saying anything of worth. His quick mouth seems to flare his opponents up with sexual desire, although they claim it is anger and annoyance. He knows better. He always knows better.
History
The tales about how this maniac came into this world vary heavily, some stating that he isn't even Wade Wilson, and a Mercenary under the employ of the CIA Codenamed Deadpool stole his identity, to him being the love child of the Asgardian God of Mischief Loki and the woman some call Marilyn Monroe, among others. However, it was generally agreed that Deadpool was insane before he was subjected to the Project X treatment. Psychotic, vicious murderer with his past covered up by the CIA, he volunteered for the program after he was diagnosed with Stage 3 brain cancer. Due to this cancer, he remembers very little of his life before Project X.
After Project X, however, things change a lot. His powers, ranging from incredible speed and strength to an artificial copy of the Wolverine's Self-healing (Like Wolverine, but on Steroids!), along with his martial arts and marksman training made him a deadly opponent to just about anyone. After his handler and creator Colonel William 'Bill'(snickers) Stryker was removed from his position in the CIA board, Deadpool decided to go into business for himself, working jobs all over the world, gathering a reputation as a man who can get just about any job done as well as being utterly hilarious awesome while doing it. He was hired to head to Gotham city to find an old friend.
