Tyran was born and bred to belong to the Great House of Slytherin. From the afar one might view him as a gentleman, quiet in nature, regal with an old world feel. No one would suspect the dark thoughts that lay hidden behind those grey-blue eyes. His smile is charming, and hides the dark and cunning thoughts that consume him. His family and blood line matter most in the world and he will do everything in his power to keep it true.
How did he react at sorting?
The sorting hat barely touched his head before calling out the one house that he belonged. There was no doubt in his mind that he would be sorted true to his nature and therefore the confident look of arrogance never wavered. He would have been surprised had the hat called out another name, as it were he took his seat with all of the grace his blood would expect.
Are her/his parents former house mates of this house?
All members of the Monaghan family along with its kin has been sorted into Slytherin and it is their deepest hope that this tradition will continue.

Personality:
Seemingly quiet by nature, Tyran is what many would assume to be a gentleman. His manners are impeccable, though it is not above him to offer a well place barb. His tongue can be sharp to those he deems unworthy.
Tyran has a sense of family loyalty that no one can shake. He is ruthless in his attempts to keep his bloodline pure. If that means breaking up “love” and ruining the life of two people, then so be it. Honor and loyalty must be retained at all costs. To many he appears to be exceedingly polite, and handsome, Where in reality Tryan is nothing short of cruel, arrogant and to a point, quite sadistic.
A little Deeper:
Tyran truly believes that he is superior to those of lessor blood. Tyran opts to attack his enemies through psychological warfare rather than by physical force. His elitist upbringing is often used as a weapon to belittle those less prosperous than himself, and those he views as unworthy. The term "Mudblood", is not be something he uses freely, as he likes to think he has more class than those open to using such an uncivilized term (at least out in the open).
Simply put he is an elegant bigot and a cunning bully in the most refined sense. Tyran enjoys uncovering what will hurt a person the most for the sole purpose to use it against them as part of his cruel mind games.
Tyran’s father, now residing in Azkaban, was a member and general in Lord Voldermort’s army, taught his son from the very early years that his place within the family was greater than those such as Liam, or even his bastard son Edwin. Tyran’s mother, a proud pureblood woman who knew her place and lived up to the expectations of her family, did her upmost best to keep the training of her children to the wishes of her husband, even after his incarceration. The worst day of her life was the day she was questioned and had to lie, claiming her husband had left her no choice in the matter of crimes against the Ministry. She was seen as an innocent due to marriage and left to raise her children under the watchful eye of the Ministry.
Tyran is scheduled to take over the rein of the Monaghan family the day of his graduation. He is cousin to Liam Monaghan and half-brother to Edwin and Veronica Connolly
