The Hill people
One of the tribes in AK47's Jungle setting
Overview
The Hill people are one of the more savage tribes in the jungle. Although they share some ancestral ties with The Valley people they are more warlike and there skin is a darker brown. There primary sustenance comes from farming pigs (sometimes supplemented with human meat), and raiding other tribes.
Men
The Men of the tribe are almost exclusively warriors. The ones who can't fight, usually don't make it to adulthood. Men Raid other vilages for tools and women. The most successful warriors owning several wives. Warriors mark there naked bodies with piercings and ritual scarification. The Piercings and scars representing acheavments they have made in battle, such as successful raids, Killing an Enemy in battle, or Raping a woman and taking her as a wife. The most common is Sharp bone studs piercing the Frenum of the penis which increase pleasure in sex for both participants. Some warriors use a sharpened version of this during raids on other Villages, turning there Penis into a weapon.
Women
The women of the tribe raise pigs, the tribe's primary mode of sustenance. (the second being human flesh consumed by the warriors during feasts after a successful raid) Women wear no clothing, but have strings of beads tired to there bodies. Some of these beads are charms which are inserted into the Vagina and anus during the day, and removed only while going to the bathroom or having sex. Although the society is dominated by competitive men, the women stick together as one large family group. Raising the pigs collectively. The women's husbands may change, but as long as they stay in the same village, they are together and support each other. They even have there own language secret from the men. Not a language of words, but of touch. An entire method of communication via tribadism passed down from mother to daughter.
Sex and Marriage
Marriage among the Hill people is a simple affair. A woman belongs to the last man to have sex with her, or in the case of a virgin, to her father. A boy is considered a man when he is old enough to physical dominate a woman and make her his wife, this sometimes includes his mother and sister. However, to take a wife, a man must be careful, taking another man's wife without his permission is seen as a challenge. Although this is not always a violent affair, many young men are killed by more experienced warriors when trying to take there first wife.
