Personality

Tera was never what most would call a normal girl. She was never the popular girl in school, she was the outcast, those that most thought a bit of a freak or a geek. But instead of withdrawing and having it beat her down Tera embraced the freak title. Tera was always creative, from making her own clothes, to creating video blogs, and writing countless stories. She also found a love for gaming and roleplaying...yes she is a total geek, but a damn hot one!

After high school is when Tera really started to bloom. She found herself interested in everything that most would over look, from paranormal/supernatural to the forget books and movies that no one ever hears about. She found her passion in exploring the weird and freaking of the world and writing about it. She is curious, intelligent, playful, flirty, headstrong, determined, and open minded. She is the type of girl that isn't afraid of something new, and doesn't give in when she really wants or believes in something. She has been known to be sarcastic and cheeky, which has gotten her into a bit of trouble form time to time. But for the most part she is simply a free spirit not afraid to be who she is.

History

Tera was raised by a single mother; Cloe Jay was an artist and for the most part a hippy. At least that was what most would see it as, mainly she was just a free spirit. Her mother had traveled the world, embraced life and held on with both hands no matter how wild it got, as she literally backpacked and worked her way around the world. Cloe ventured forth to see the things most only dreamed of. So the story of her whirlwind romance was no surprise. Cloe fell head over heels for what she always described as the dark and handsome stranger. Really he was passionate Italian man that made her mother feel more in a matter of weeks than anyone else had in her life. And even if it ended with them parting ways(for reasons Tera never did figure out) her mother always said she would never regret it. Because she ended up with the best gift possible...her daughter.

Tera's birth only gave the epic opening to what would be an unconventional life. Her mother was on a small commuter plane heading back to Paris, yes against doctors’ orders. So when her water broke Cloe could only laugh. The pilot and other passengers were surprised to say the least. The pilot quickly contacted the airport, but as they landed in Paris Cloe found herself with a new baby girl. Knowing that her daughter would be full of surprises from here on out. Though she did hope her timing would improve just a bit.

Cloe didn't really stop traveling, but she did slow down a bit. Eventually the two women found themselves in Vermont, staying with one of Cloe's old collage friends. They seemed to settled down finally, Cloe was able to sell her art in NY easily enough and Tera was about to grow up in a real home. Tera was always an odd girl, even when she was little she was exploring who she was. Never afraid to be silly, some teachers thought she was trouble...really she was just too curious for her own good.

The trend continued through her later years, Tera was far from stupid so her grades were amazing. That wasn't what stuck out about Tera, well at least not the only thing that stuck out about her. High school was no different for her as she was the outcast there as well. But she didn't let it stop or drag her down. No Tera took the comments and snide remarks in stride. Granted she had her selection of cheeky remarks as well. She spent her fair share of time in detention, which her mother normally protested as it was stifling her creative freedoms.

Later on in collage Tera found her stride, gaining a degree in photojournalism. Moving to New York she became a journalist for a small yet up and coming underground magazine. She loved that they did stories on the artist, lifestyles, and unknown that most would avoid. Now 23 she lives in an old converted store front, and visits her old family home regularly. Her mother taking to traveling once more sends her letters from around the world. So their old home is usually empty, but still welcoming when she arrives.

It was one of these visits that something unexpected happened. She was out in a local game/computer store looking for something to distract her for the evening when she found something...or we say someone very interesting. David seemed to catch her eye just after she had caught his. He seemed shy and standoffish, thankfully Tera was the opposite. So before he could protest she had struck up a conversation. What she didn't know was that David was a vampire, and that he would soon be turning her life upside down.
