I have a penchant for…

~ A sense of humor. I’d love to have fun with our story, and hopefully you will too.

~ Creative, strong, mature, literate writers, both male and female. I do put a lot of effort into our stories (I like exploring emotions, actions and motives, as well as devoting time to description of physical characteristics and behavior in several paragraphs) so I will be expecting the same or nearly the same level of output from my writing partner. And the other writer is always free to feel the same about me and should honestly tell me so if I’m not meeting expectations and how I can be better.

~ Variety in pace and content. Having said the above, I realize that post length can be variable depending on how much and what the writers want to say, how well it can be said in as few words as possible, how quickly the scene needs to be paced, and also the writers' moods. I draw the line at one-liners, but anywhere from one informative, descriptive, or dialogue-packed paragraph to many paragraphs spanning pages works for me. So if I write a super long post, it doesn't mean I expect my partner to write the same length too. :) It only means I had a lot to say.

~ Trying anything (except for my offs, see below) at least once, and I have definitely tried much more than I ever thought I will here on E, and actually enjoyed some of it. Needless to say, many of those things I will probably never try IRL and my enjoyment remains IC.
