Personality

Despite his nature of seeking adventure and making new friends, he actually can be rather shy at first with new friends. He warms up to them quick though. He is a very loyal and passionate friend. He is all over anything that might possibly spell adventure for him. He is energetic and always willing to lend a hand if he can.

A Little Deeper

Skylar comes from an energetic home. His father was a muggle Archeologist that met his Halfblood mother on a dig. After some time they fell in love, got married and had a single child, Skylar. Skylar was brought up in the families adventurous taste. The family eagerly looked to see if the boy had inherited any magical talent from his mother. Skylar had not yet been introduced to the magic side of his family, but when a fire broke out in the home, Skylar was in a panic. He didn’t know what to do. His mother was trapped behind a wall of flames, bringing skylark to tears, screaming for his mothers life, reaching out to her with his hands. Magically, the wall of flames parted just long enough for his mother to escape the burning house. With this, the answer was happily received, Skylar was to be a wizard. It was then that he was introduced to the wizarding world, learning all kinds of stories and myths that were actually real, including the great story of the famous Harry Potter himself. He was given the chance by his parents, if he wanted to go to normal schooling, or embrace his inner wizard. Skylar, of course, made no hesitation to opt into learning the mystic arts, looking to meet and make new friends along the way.

fathers side Name:John Rhodes Bloodstatus: Muggle Occupation: Doctor of Archeology His Father is a muggle who loves his adventure. having met his wife on one of his digs, they go everywhere together and go on long digs and adventures while Skylar attends school. He makes sure Skylar stays well funded, aspiring for his son every ounce of excitement the world, both muggle and magical, has to offer him.

mothers side Name: Aurora Rhodes Bloodstatus:halfblood Marital status: married Occupation: Historian and artifact retriever for the ministry Wand: 11’’ Red Oak with griffin feather core Aurora is a half blood witch that met John on one of his digs. She herself is an expert on magical history and artifacts. The family went out on digs together, often times forgetting whos worksite they were working on that particular day. She passed her magical talent onto her son, whos progress through JWA and eventually through Hogwarts, she is watching with great excitement.
