Personality
Savannah is a very quiet girl for the most part. She spends a lot of time reading or sketching caricatures of passersby. She is friendly to any who speak to her or are friends with her but she isn't as outgoing as most girls her age. She found out at an early age that she liked girls more than boys but still found boys to be fun to be around. They were good for laughs or just talking to when she didn't want to be around the girls. Savannah can be very perceptive of everything and tends to remember a lot of what she sees and hears. What she doesn't remember is typically in her sketch book. Many would view Savvy as a wallflower but she just thinks she an average everyday girl. Nothing too special. Her aunt would remind her she is worthless and not worth notice. Sav spends a lot of time trying to be invisible as its what she is accustomed to at home. |
A Little Deeper

Savannah was born to two loving parents who never took anything for granted. They had typical jobs in the world, muggle or magic. They always kept the magic alive in their relationship and in the home, so that their little girl would have that awe constant and know her roots. Savannahs mother was disowned from her family when she decided to marry a muggle. He was a handsome man and one of some money but nothing special. However, she felt he was her world and she'd give up her own pureblood purity focused family for the love she had with him. It wasn't long after their marriage that Savannah was born. They lived a fairly normal life for a family that included a witch and a muggle. Her mother often brewed potions and draughts for her "Apothecary". Many of the muggles took to her salves and sleeping draughts to cure their aches and ailments. She was always careful not to do anything against the rules of the ministry. When Savannah had been enrolled in the Salem School for Wizardry, she had only been attending for two years and her parents had to go to New York for some event her fathers company was having. It just so happened that day was the last day of their lives as the twin towers were destroyed, killing hundreds of people, including Savannah's parents. She was sent to live with a wizard friendly family for a short while before her Aunt was found in Liverpool and accepted her into her home. It didn't hurt that Savannah came with an inheritance and a trust fund as well as a monthly stipend. Otherwise, she was sure her aunt would have left her to the foster families. However at the age of 14 she was moved to Liverpool where she would begin her classes at JWA in London. The Floo network was something she was used to while attending her prior school so she adapted well in that regard. The once upbeat girl who loved life and was full of energy and sharing everything with everyone she met, became downtrodden, shy, and withdrawn for the most part.
Sav was a late 3rd year student at JWA but during those first few months, she met Amber, her girl friend. Amber made things easier for Savannah and helped her to come out of her shell a bit more. The girl is still a big part of her life and her closest friend. Still life at home with Aunt Frieda was hell and she was often reminded of just how lucky she should be to have a family of Purebloods to take her in and show her the proper way of living. It became quickly apparent to her that her Aunt had a severe hatred for muggleborn and did not approve of her sisters marriage to Savannah's father. Now Savvy just lives each day for the next in hopes of getting to Hogwarts soon so she can get away from her aunt for extended periods of time. |
