She is fond of hearing about what can possible be distant light years away in space. Her father would talk about the different planets discussed in the international news along with the various types of life that could exist on other planets. Lace: Love for lace comes from growing up in a house which has been passed through her family for many generations. One day when exploring the attic, she came across a trunk containing some of her great grandmother's old clothing. Hats, gloves, dresses. Winter: The heat of the summer is very disagreeable for her. Plus her mother always becomes a bit more lax in the winter which makes the season all the more enjoyable for her. Outdoors: As a child, Sarah's disposition was fairly weak so she was not permitted outdoors due to the fear of her falling and breaking a bone. She was also very prone to illness so her mother tried to keep her away from other children. It took a lot of convincing from her father to permit Sarah to be allowed outdoors for even short periods of time such as in his company when stargazing. She has often dreamed of being able to have a normal childhood such as being able to fall without her mother having to take her to the hospital. Cookies and other sweets: Even though she is not allowed to cook, Sarah has developed a taste for sweets even though her love for it is rarely indulged in the presence of her mother. It is only during visits from her grandmother when she is allowed to have a cookie or two...or three. Dislikes: Summer: It is during the summer when Sarah feels the most weak and has the most problems with her frail health. Her mother's nickname: Even though she knows the name is used in affection and love, Sarah hates it with a passion. What's so great about a marmoset other than being small? History of Magic: Despite her teacher trying to make this subject fun, it is truly very boring for Sarah. Personality

Sarah is often found within a good mood despite her malady. She is always willing to make introductions or be introduced to other people. She has a low tolerance for those who are too dependent without actual need due to living most of her life being forced to depend on others. Overall, she is a fairly average student although at times her grades do dip into the failing category due to her habit of daydreaming in class. However, she does always manage to pull through with at least a passing grade by the end of the semester. This does not bode well for her anxiousness about knowing if she will proceed to the next level with her peers or not. There are times when she does become grumpy about her cards in life but these periods do not last long. For the most part, Sarah has been waiting for her time to be who she wants to be rather than where she is.

A Little Deeper

Sarah is the only child of her parents, Joy and Peter Crawford. Not through choice but because having Sarah nearly killed Joy in the first place since it was a hard pregnancy then difficult labor. Joy and Peter met when Joy was on summer vacation in the Netherlands. It was a wild summer which turned into more than a seasonal romance. Her father works at a car dealership while her mother runs a restaurant in their local town, famous for its delicious meat pies at affordable prices. Her birth came as a surprise to Joy and Peter since they were not exactly trying for a child. Plus, they were under the impression of always being careful. So when Sarah was first brought into the world, their lives were a bit hectic due to not being prepared for a child. Especially one with such special needs. In order to make it work, they decided to move Peter's mother into the house with them to serve as a nanny when both parents were away at work. Her grandmother, Dorothy, is a kind woman who often fills her granddaughter's head with stories of the outdoors. It is these stories which has caused Sarah to be such an avid dreamer. Sarah gave her mother quite the scare when she was younger since she fell deathly ill after fighting what some might see as a minor cold. However, due to Sarah's weak immune system, the cold turned more vile than expected. It is for this reason that her mother has become more stricter with what her daughter is permitted to do even on days when Sarah feels up to doing more.
