The previous summer the loyal companion was bred with another Occicat and produced a litter of kittens. His mother insisted on keeping Gaia at home which meant Salvatore was allowed to pick the kitten of his choice. He picked the smallest of kittens and nurtured it. Rex now walks with the confidence of his owner, the small kitten struts around like a lion and makes sure all in his domain know it.

Appearance

Hair: Dark Brown, grown long and styled back most of the time. Eyes: Light Green/teal Weight: 160lbs Height: 6'1" Physical Description: Salvatore physique can be described as lean, a healthy musculature spans his frame. He maintains a healthy glow year round, when not studying you can spot him swimming and tanning by the lake end. His most distinct features are his eyes, they almost appear to shift between light green to light blue, his emotion rarely show on his face but his eyes can speak volumes.

Personality

Arrogant: Salvatore was raised to be proud of who he is, who is family are and his status in life. From a young age he was raised a prince and one day would become king. As heir-apparent to the Mengsk bloodline he knows he is among the few of the powerful bloodlines that remain true. Charismatic: The young and only Mengsk heir always had a way to charm his way to get what he wants. From his looks to his mannerisms and etiquette, he knows how to win a person over even if he believed them to be beneath him. Strong Willed: The Mensgk family at one time was the core families, from which other families branched off of in Germany. As muggle blood mixed within the purebloods and many more branches were created or ended for various reasons, the ethos of the proud Mengsk family was passed on generation to generation. Salvatore was raised with those noble virtues despite how out dated some of them might seem. Manipulative: Getting what he wants is an art he learned from his father a well known business (wizard)man in Europe. The Mengsk family wealth came from land long ago and still hold both wizard and muggle lands that are run by the branches of the Mengsk family but all answer to the patriarch. Leader: As Heir-apparent to his family, he was raised to rule. His father zealously believes that it is his duty to lead his family back to glory and run the family businesses that range from potion reagents to various wizard lines of clothing.

A Little Deeper

The Mengsk family dates back to the early Germanic people before the invasion of Rome. Originally "Shamans and Seers" the family always held a high position among the muggle barbarians and imperials. When Roman and Germanic Blood came together, the secrecy of magic was respected and the Mengsk family retreated into isolation and chose to live among muggles in order to profit from them. Acquiring and holding land, the family grew to many branches and the birth of many pureblood families (Like the Black Family in England). Time changed, muggle blood mixed with pure and the Mengsk family diminished leaving a vast empire that ranged from wizard fashion to muggle revenue from land holdings. The mengsk family is known in the muggle world as much as it is known in the wizard world (In Germany). When it came time for Argus Mengsk, the Half German/Half Spanish business man/wizard to settle down, he met Michelle Fenton Selvridge and actually fell in love with the woman. Salvatore Mengsk was born August 10, 1993 and Argus could not be happier. Their first child was a boy and the heir he sought, of all his brothers to only produce daughters it would be his son, Salvatore, who would be the new patriarch of the family much to the dismay of his siblings who had older children but all obeyed the rights of succession thought lost in the middle ages. The young boy was raised like a prince but never spoiled, as a baby he showed great ability in "baby magic" and spent most of them time charming his toys and as he got older was even able to provide for himself when hungry or thirsty. Argus was strict on his son, his mother kind but family life was good. They spent plenty of time enjoying leisure activities between his parent's busy schedules. When he was eight, Michelle was pregnant once more and both Megnsk Men were happy to hear the news. Sadly the child was born frail, Michelle was not of the age to be delivering more children and the loss of the little girl changed the family for the worse. Michelle wished to return to work for the Ministry and her husband stayed back in Berlin. His transgression were always known but the marriage seemed to have problems.  Salvatore spent more time with his Au-pair then his parents and began to meet half-bloods and muggle born wizards when out shopping with her. Finding friendship in a half-blood girl, his Au-pair covered for him as he sneaked away to play with her. The two became close and one day she kissed him but it was the worst day because his father had seen the two. Argus told his son he was better then half-bloods and she was not worth her time but for the first time in his life he defied his father by lying and swearing he would not see her again. The two remained friends and as they became older became lovers. She went away to Drummstrag, he went off to JWA but the wrote to one another via owl when they could not see one another. In JWA, Salvatore made friends easily but kept to himself. He lived in a nice lavish apartment in the city with his mother and would fly to Berlin on his vacations to stay with his father and see Cassandra. Towards the end of his JWA years, the two became lovers and the first few summers of his time in Hogwarts was spent away. Salvatore was not purposely distant but seemed that way since he was quick to rush off to Berlin during his holidays. During the summer of his 3rd year, she told him she was engaged to another and told them their relationship had to end. Salvatore did not accept the news and tempted his long time lover and friend up until her wedding day when the two declared their love for one another and simply broke communication. Worst Memories: The death of his baby sister, died when he was nine years old. She was born weak and frail, told she would not live past a few days. His mother cried for days and his father drank himself into a stupor, neither ever spoke of it again but still honor her birthday. The day he saw the love of his life marry another man, ending a tryst that began when he was younger. Best Memory: A kiss he received under a peach tree from a girl he liked when he was 9 (She was 11) before his father told her she was a half-blood and unworthy of his time. The two became lovers when they were older and spent holidays together until she became engaged. He attended the wedding, they declared their love for one another before sharing a final kiss. "In another world, you and I were meant to be together." They walked away from one another and nether looked back.
