Appearance
As you can see from the picture she is a woman of beauty, but what the picture hides tells more of a story than the picture Itself. She is a slight woman, barely 4'11, a trait she attained from her mother who was of Ruatha. Her slight body, beneath her clothing, is covered in scars from 'reprimands' her father has given her since she turned 16. After many attempts made by him, she has managed to turn his attentions towards beating her - instead of raping her.
Her eyes, which the picture does not show, are the palest blue you can imagine. But this is a trait of her Albinism, something that she laments because it means she has to wear spectacles. It also makes her lament because it means she never can be a dragon rider, something she would have loved to have been because it would make her escape her fate at her fathers Hold.
When in public she is never seen without a cloak, one that helps protect her from the rays of the sun. She saved up marks as well and has a special pair of darkened spectacles (of her 'prescription') that she uses to protect her weak eyes from the sun.

Personality
Lunesta is a polite young woman - it's hard to get her to crack and say a single curse word. She is always soft-spoken - and rarely ever raises her voice. She's a big believer in the fact that the lower you put your voice the more people shut up to listen. She has a clear voice - something high and gentle. It reminds one of music almost - and she does indeed have a beautiful singing voice. She uses this voice to gain attention - and get her work and the work of others around her done.
She is a gentle leader, a simple peacekeeper. She breaks up the fights and makes those she has around her feel loved and cherished. She puts all her energy to make other people happy. Which is exactly what makes her happy. She always has a smile on her face, and when she doesn't that's when you know something is wrong. It takes something seriously messed up to truly upset her. To get her angry is even harder. There are few things that will actually put rage into her.
Severe control of her being - is what she was trained in. At the end of the day - anger and rage would only hurt you. The problem is this sort of control will eventually snap. The suppression and oppression she gets from her father - will eventually make the girl snap. She doesn't like being built up and she actually wants to do things like dance and sing - and have friends that aren't planned by her father. She wants to joke and be goofy - but she isn't allowed to.
She has become a romantic, a sweet voice and a gentle smile - has started to draw her in more. Finding a shoulder to cry on, and someone to talk to - this is a dream for her. She has been pushing her hardest to find ways around her promise to her father, but she is finding it harder and harder.
She lives by her honour - and can't accept the fact that she may break a promise. This upsets her more then anything in the world. This is as much a detriment as an asset - as it can in the end prove her to be more self-sacrificing then is needed. She really wishes she could push past this, but she can't bring herself to do so.
She has self-image issues, she has been trying her hardest to make herself feel she's worth something more then a breeding asset to her father. But she's finding it exceedingly more and more difficult. This is a bad issue for her - as she can't find what people find attractive in her. Appearances weren't something she considered as the only way to be attracted to someone. So finding that people like her for her appearance alone - baffles her.
Because of her mere nature as she is - she is rather exploitable in many aspects. Showering others with love and affection - putting their happiness before her own - can get a person in trouble. If someone is in need of aid - she tends to put herself forward in every way she can. Those that are manipulative can easily use her naivete on many matters - to their own advantage.
Because of her love for all of those in her care, she will go to many extremes to make sure they are happy. She has many a time found herself in a situation where she is uncomfortable - just so that she can accomplish a simple task. This is another exploitable trait to her, because no matter how much someone that she loves hurts her, she will still continue to do her best to give them the happiness she feels they deserve.
When slights are made against her she stands down and doesn't do anything against it. Keeping the image of the Perfect lady - for her hold - is more important to her, then her own personal wants or needs. This trait is rather bad for her, as it could get her in a lot of trouble. She will deal with slights and accusations dealt against her, with logic - but in the long run she just doesn't do much about it other then turn her cheek away from it.
History
Lunesta is the only child of Lord Lunaris and his legal wife Senestal, Lunesta was born a bit into his marriage to his wife, as she has several 'siblings' that are older than her. Lunesta's mother came from Ruatha, so Lunesta spent many a time there with her mother. But her mother raised her properly, intending on her daughter being the future wife of some Lord Holder. A fate she had hoped for Lunesta, so Lunesta could escape the Sea Side Hold.
As the Heir child of a Lord she was unable to do anything but take 'interim' courses from Halls, and she was unable to be a Dragon Rider. Even if her father had wanted to give her up, the Dragons would not take her due to her 'differences'. Lunesta was born with severe albinism, which is a trait that does not make viable riders. Her eyesight was always poor, and for almost all of her life that she remembers she has worn spectacles.
Lunesta holds a dark secret, a truth she knows. Her father killed her mother, but she is unable to prove this as he placed all the blame on one of his Mistresses of the time. He had begun to make Lady Senestal Suspicious of his actions, and she had made it clear she expected fidelity from her husband. Especially since she was finally pregnant again, after many miscarriages, and was hoping to give him a son. IF he had a legitimate son, their daughter could be freed for other things. Lunesta was attached to her mother more than her father, but that didn't stop what happened.
Lunesta was off overseeing a birth, as was part of her training as a Lady to be (at least what her mother said was part of it), and by the time she came back to her mother she found her dead. Her mother had entered labor much too early for the baby to survive very long, but the bleeding and tearing was so severe that even the Trauma Surgeon J'kal was unable to save her mother. It was that day that Lunesta started to curl into herself and hide her true self. Her demeanor shifting to that of a proper Lady.
When she turned sixteen her father seemed to change in regards to her. Despite his many mistresses, and over forty something bastard children, her father was looking at her in a way that made her uncomfortable. She managed though, after the first attempt, to make him more interested in beating her. She would incite his anger with quips and jibes - only in private, only ever in private - and he would 'reprimand' her with whatever was on hand. He never struck her face, as that would show above her clothing, and only left marks in places that her clothing covered.
She did her job as Lady interim, and survived her father's beatings for many years. Even now, as she turns Twenty-Two turns old, she realizes her father is getting rid of her by sending her to meed Lordlings at the Igen Weyr Town Season Gather, this way he will be able to get rid of her and make room for her 'older brother' to take her place at the Hold. But quite frankly, she doesn't want any of it. She just wants freedom.
Any Other Info
She has taken two interim courses in Healing, when she was 8 and when she was 16. She took an interim Harper course when she was 12. She is currently in the process of taking her third Interim course as a Healer, being only halfway through it. She works with the Healer stationed at Half-Circle.
She has no friends, and no companions. Her father has refused her even the ability to get a firelizard egg from their shores.
