This is the craft that creates all of the glasses and baubles that pern sees. The craft of Glass creation is not an easy one, and the people who are in it often are pockmarked with scars all along their hands. This comes from spending so much time working with molten hot glass. Some do not live very long, because of failure to follow basic rules. Some work with caustic materials to create beautiful pieces of work. Often at a gather the shiny glass dragons you see are made by the hands of a Glass Crafter, they so love their job.

The Current Master Glass Crafter of Pern is a woman in her 50s.
