Personality

Misaki is a shy girl around people she doesn't know very well. Though once she does get to know someone, she's the most reliable and kind person they'll ever meet. Her parents did their best to instill good values in her, and it seems they did a very good job. Misaki often puts her friends needs in front of her own, which can sometimes be a bad thing. She is quite intelligent and sometimes that trait can intimidate others into being unnecessarily rude towards her. Although human, Misaki is very in tune with the emotions of people around her.

History

Misaki grew up an only child with two loving parents. They encouraged her at a young age to learn all she could about the world. "Knowledge is power" they would tell her. When she was a teenager, her parents had to relocate to the US, from Japan, for her father's job. Misaki didn't mind, but she missed her friends.

In her final year of high school, Misaki became interested in the lore of mythical creatures. Specifically vampires. She couldn't figure out why she was drawn to them, but she wanted to learn all she could about them. The idea fascinated her. Not to the point of obsession, of course.

After graduating, Misaki moved out on her own. Alaska wasn't some place just anybody could live in. A harsh, cold environment and unforgiving terrain. But what drew Misaki to the distant and isolated place, was when she found out that they experience over a month of continuous night. In her mind, it was the perfect place to prove the existence of the mythical creatures.

But in Alaska, she might get more than she bargained for.
