Mickey O'Mailey (b. 1968) is Criminal that specializes in retrieval of information by torture under the alias Hammer. He has no loyalties to anyone and is simply a mercenary for hire like Naomi Bell. He is not a born resident of Burden City, but instead immigrated to America in order to pursue a more satisfying career.
Biography
Growing up on the streets of Belfast, there is not much to be learned of Mickey's childhood. Not because it is boring, but because there is sparse information on him in regards to his adolescence. The identity of his parents are unknown, the time of birth and the exact name of the uncle that raised him is also a mystery. All that is known is that his uncle taught him on how to cause pain at some point of his life, by educating the young boy due to his vast knowledge of the human anatomy and his field medical degree. He accepted the education with eagerness, excelling in it as the years went by. It is unknown on what happened after he 'graduated' from his uncle's studies and before he left Ireland. But it is presumed that he started his work in the IRA there.
As said before, Mickey had left Ireland at the age of 20, wanting to earn more than just bread and water. It's presumed that he moved from place to place during the next ten years, being hired by some mobsters here and there but never finding that perfect place for him. While he did garner a reputation with hose the Irish Mafia fears him and how the Italian Mafia is hounding after him, he hasn't been able to find that 'one place' yet. He then learned of Burden City by a contact of his one day and, after some researched, decided to move up and stake a claim in the three ring circus of violence and mayhem there.
He is now in Burden City, currently trying to get noticed by the Crime Lord or the Head Detective in order to earn his keep. He is trying to get the Crime Lord's attention at the time being but will not hesitate to go to the other side if they show interest in him.
Physical Appearance
Mickey is a tall and muscular man with good looks to him that is accentuated by his tall height (6 feet and 8 inches) and impressive physique (weighing at 273 pounds). He has deep auburn hair that he keeps slicked back most all the time with palmade that reaches his collar line, with deep green eyes that have a hard light in them. He has a normal skin complexion with no hints of tanning or paling at all. It is marked with a Celtic Cross with Celtic knot across his right side from under his left pec down to his left hip and a large scar over his neck's right side from his jaw's corner to his collar bone.
Personality
Mickey is a stubborn and rude man, but is willing to be civil while looking for a job. He attempts to act charming and sly to others, but it comes across as unnerving than anything else to those who interact with him. He is also a psychopath through and through. He has a complete lack of morals and sense of decency. He is a dangerous, manipulative and deceptive man who only regards his own well-being. He has no regards for others' feelings and cares for nothing but himself, without feeling a sense of remorse or empathy to the targets he's been hired. He sees them as nothing more than entertainment and his 'canvas' to show his talents to the world. He is also a perfectionist and dagnerously determined man, having perfected the 'skills' of a torturer and having a wide array of knowledge in the human body, torture, sience, anatomy, law and many more fields of science.
He takes the term 'dog-eat-dog' and 'the-best-man-wins' to the extreme with his intense need to survive and outdo everyone. He is arrogant of his talents and is quite proud of himself for all the feats and crimes he has made over his long life. He is very careful in regards to his work, meticulous to the last detail to ensure he gets away with it. He goes through lengths to prove himself that he is better than other men, taunting them and threatening them when he meets another Alpha Male like himself. Unlike the other criminals or investigators, it seems he is doing this just for the fun of it all and not because of a tragic background. He considers what he does a form of 'art' and will do whatever it takes to prolong the 'art', even if it causes the victim an intense amount of agony and misery. He is a depraved hedonist, taking pleasure in whatever he does and does what he pleases if he feels like he can get away with it.
He is also most likely misogynistic, with the way he treats women (his preferred targets in both his job and his 'leisure time') as merely playthings and objects. He is sick and twisted individual, due to the fact he has violent fantasies of torture and rape to anyone that intrigues him. He likes to give pain in long periods of time, finding a rush and thrill in the screams and blood of the victim.
