Molly was born of two pure blood families though rather the poorer financially her two parents really did marry for love rather than any idea of purity and blood lines. Her Mother was an only child and her father was the middle rather uninteresting middle child of three children. Both were bright students but somewhat shy. They were certainly not the movers and shakers of the school, mostly keeping themselves to themselves. Both sets of parents died not long after the two were married. Thus Molly’s mother Nerissa and her husband Oswald inherited the shop, which they continue to run.
This was no ordinary shop, nothing was ever bought or sold, things, and yes the strangest of items just seemed to end up with in this little rather unobtrusive little store that most people did not notice. It has been said that there may be very dark items hidden away that will never be allowed to pass the threshold, and if anything of that nature really does remain inside it has been impossible to find. Some lost items need to remain just that…lost. For it was said items which in the end lost her grandfather Amiens.
The girl for the most has worked with her parents in this odd little establishment, she did spend one year at JWA but then returned to home schooling. Both her parents are somewhat nervous of the outside world and thus she is. Of course she meets wizards and witches every day but it is in a place that she feels comfortable. Surrounded by some completely bizarre items, and those that appear completely mundane. Milly is aware but not wholly aware of some of the items that are hidden away and as yet has not been shown the secret places for now. IT was too dangerous and she was far too innocent.
Molly really did not want to start school again but her mother had promised her that her large pink cat and the kittens would be safe. Though very bright as each month passed with home schooling Milly knew that she was just procrastinating and the inevitable would have to come in the end. Mother was insistent and had even brought in an assistant for the shop. So Molly was starting again at JWA. So that she could go on to Hogwarts, Mother knew Hogwarts was a good school and this would be the stepping stone.
Nerissa, her mother thought it was the best place for her daughter to learn now and they had the best teachers there. It was as much the woman’s need as it was for her daughter to learn that she finally convinced her rather late that she really did have to go to Hogwarts and thus back to JWA. Nerissa knew she would be safe there, and that she would be taught in a way that she never could. Also it was time Molly tried to make friends, well friends other than the odd denizens of the shop.
