Margaret Veronica Asher (b. August 4, 1986) is an everyday citizen (or, as they will be called in this game, a Victim) of Burden City and is noted to be the devoted girlfriend of Luca Ludwig. She is not a born resident of Burden City, but instead moved there from Vermont when she was younger in hopes of striking out on her own. She is the owner of Burden's Blooms, a popular but small flower shop.
Biography
Born in August 4, 1986 as an only child to her two parents, Arnold and Jude Asher, Margaret lived a peaceful and pampered childhood in Northfield, Vermont. She, however, became restless of her idyllic life there, wanting to be more than just the daughter of the pastor and decided to leave home when she turned 18 to make a living for herself. She chose Burden City out of whim, ignorant of the crime rates until she got there in 2001. She shrugged it off, thinking nothing will happen to her, and opened her flower shop two years after coming into the city. She made friends there and was doing well during that time, and was having the time of her life as an independent away from her small home. Everything was going well for her, to the point that she was certain that all those reports were made up, until 2006. She was closing up the flower shop when a group of men jumped her and she couldn't defend herself. She was robbed and gangraped by them.
The case against the five attackers was strong, but then Angus Fraser; who was the investigator assigned to the case, destroyed the majority of the evidence when he was give $50,000 by one of the criminals. They all walked free from the crime, not even with a slap on the wrist to them since it boiled down to a he-said, she-said case that her provided and overworked lawyer encouraged her to not go through. Distraught and shocked by this betrayal, she withdrew to herself even when her friends in Burden City tried to cheer her up. She eventually managed to calm down and eventually started to go out again a year later. It was in The Coffee Monster café did she meet Luca Ludwig for the first time, and she was admittedly charmed by his genteel fashion and honeyed words. But when he revealed to her his ‘other job’ and it scared her a bit, until he soothed her fears by defending her honor by attacking four of the five rapists in her name. Flattered and surprised by his devotion, she let her guard down and has been dating him ever since.
She is still in Burden City to this day, running her flower shop as she continues her relationship with Luca. Though she is somewhat known in the criminal community, no one has of yet attempted to laid hands on her thanks to Luca’s protection. She is saving up money to go to the Canadian Tulip Festival one of these days for her vacation with Luca when her flower shop gains more business.
Physical Appearance
Margaret is a beautiful young woman, standing at 5 feet and 8 inches and weighing at 139 pounds that gives her a small but full form. She has long, dark chocolate brown hair that is in curls and frames her face, matching her tanned and rosy complexion. She is almost famous for her large, dark blue eyes and the thick, dark lashes that frame them. They are notably large, even from a distance, to the point that Luca calls ‘Bette Davis blues’ in an affectionate manner.
Personality
Margaret is a quiet and rather bitter recluse, once cheerful and sunny but the incident left her bashful and shy to new people now. She is introverted but willing to help others, still believing in the good of others deep down in her. It’s just she mistrustful of others now and is scared and fearful of everything like a little bunny rabbit. Once a person of skilled social manners, she is now fumbling with what to say next to someone if they talk to her and she does not know them. She now rather spend her time with either Luca, William, Michelle or just her flowers, feeling more open and happy when she is with just one person or no one at all. She enjoys her privacy and respects others, expecting them to do the same for her.
She hates it when people poke and probe her like she’s an animal, but she’ll only fluster and buster but never curst at anyone at all due to her quiet and peaceful nature. She’s rather fragile and panicky at times, due to the trauma she’s face, but struggles to be strong for the sake of herself and others in order to keep them all happy. But she is never pleased with herself, forever chastising herself with her rather self-deprecating attitude. But she isn’t always negative. She can be a great and loyal friend, kind and selfless when the occasion calls for it. She is rather passive aggressive but keeps her calm and attempted to be mild-mannered and polite as she can be to the less fortunate. She is creative and determined when she is assigned to do something, giving it all her all. And she has this enigmatic type of personality that makes men in the room with her feel special and a king she looks at them with a light in her eyes and she graces them with a smile.
She likes simple, pretty things like pretty stones that are polished and clean or flowers – she is a pure fanatic for flowers – and is very feminine so she likes soft pastel colors or colors in general. This is included in her jobs. She likes the quietness and tranquillity because it’ll let her think and contemplate, helping her relax. She likes it simple and easy to do, But she isn’t the one to sit on her chair and expect everything to be done for her. She is a hands on type of person, wanting to be useful as possible in order not to become an issue for anyone. She is at her most loving and open when she is in an intimate relationship with someone that she can trust. She is sweet and affectionate. Joyful and sunny at these private moments and is loyal to those she loves through and through.
