Appearance
Lucy's hair has a natural waviness but she prefers to wear it straight. Though it is naturally a dark brown that approaches black she often has it lightened or even puts in random streaks of color to suit her mood. Her facial features are a mix of her father's genes and her mother's mixed Asian and heritage, that gives her a slightly exotic look. Slim and long legged, Lucy was blessed with enough of her mother's genes to balance her length with well proportioned curves. She has a tendency toward bright clothing in layers on her personal time and even when dressed for work she has a habit of adding little splashes of color wherever she can. She enjoys collecting footwear, even if living in Alaska makes most of them pointless.
Personality
Lucy can be a hard being to “figure out” for some. On the surface of things she can sometimes appear a bit disconnected from reality, given to periods of daydreaming and doodling or humming, but the truth is that Lucy just has her own way of seeing things. For her the world is rarely black and white, instead existing in brilliant splashes of color that overlap and create interesting shades that should be explored.
Lucy is--at least on the surface--friendly, flirty, unafraid to take risks, and always real. Her childhood and even a good part of her adult life was dictated by so many restrictions that she hates all but the most necessary of rules. She obeys the laws of vampire kind because to go against them means death but otherwise she does as she pleases. She likes to party and have fun but she knows when its time to buckle down and get serious too. By vampire standards she is not all that old and it shows in her refusal to relinquish her humanity but she doesn't care. All in all, Lucy just likes to have fun and do things her own way, in her own time.
Ability
Sensory manipulation - Lucinda can deaden or enhance anothers senses (touch, taste, sight, smell, or hearing) as long as they are within close proximity or even tap into it and see/hear/taste/smell/feel what they do if there has been a blood exchange. Limited to a max of 1 sense per person at a time and no more than 5 people at one time (must manipulate the same sense for all). Use of this power for prolonged periods or on multiple people at once is draining.
Ons & Offs
Lucy may appear to be the easy type but she is not. She is looking for someone worthy of her trust. ONs - Sensation (can include light to moderate pain), larger males, teasing, dancing, a little manhandling can be fun, passion, loss of control. OFFs - toilet stuffs, feet, degradation, fisting, fully submissive males.
History
Born in the 1930's to a wealthy public figure and his mistress, Lucinda was treated as a dirty little secret and hidden away from public view for most of her childhood. She and her mother wanted for nothing in the way of material possessions but Lucy's mother blamed her for the banishment of them both from her one true love's life, and as such Lucy had to learn to make the world a fun place to be on her own. She was given a tutor to keep her out of school, and as such the only playmate she ever had was her tutor's own daughter.
It was clear early on that Lucy had a gift for the arts. She could draw and paint, and sing and dance, and did so frequently. Her artwork seemed to be the only way she could make her mother smile anymore so when He finally came in the night it was to hear the sweetest sound imaginable as Lucinda sang her drunken mother to sleep. Or at least that was what he told her when the then 13 year old asked Him why he had taken her. Her mother was dead, drained dry in her own bed before the house they'd lived in was burned down, but she was saved and kept. She was once again given everything a girl could ask for but for the one thing she wanted most: freedom.
Her master cared for her. He was a fearsome man, brutal with his enemies and lacking in concern for humans and their fragile lives, but somehow he was so terribly gentle with her... so long as she obeyed. She sang for him and painted for him and showed him the world from fresh eyes and he protected her and cared for her as a father might a child. He did not touch her or drink from her until the night of her 18th birthday when he gave her a choice: He would drink of her and make her his in every way imaginable or she could be free of him altogether and go whichever way she chose. Her answer, even though she was afraid, was to ask for her freedom.
Lucinda learned a very valuable lesson that night about the monsters. In spite she was turned against her will and once it was sure she would live at least one night as a monster like Him she was turned loose and left to fend for herself. The first few years were hell, and there were more than a few times when she came close to true death (both by her own hand and at the hands of others) before she realized that her former master could only take away who and what she was if she allowed him to.
After that first decade Lucy seemed to get a grip and began to claw her way up from rock bottom. She managed to bounce back and even thrive in a world that seemed ripe and alive beneath her feet. She was nearly 50 years old before her master found her again and forcibly laid claim to her, effectively stealing the very thing she treasured most.
For more than 10 years she lived in His care back in his French estate. With him being so old and so much more powerful than she, there was no hope of breaking free of him by her own power until the night he made an error in judgement and crossed the wrong Wolf and nearly found himself ripped to shreds by a vicious pack. Lucy stared as her master dragged himself into her quarters and demanded she aid him. Everything seemed to slow down in that instant as her subconscious seemed to recognize that she had a choice and without much conscious thought she stole her master's sense of touch, disorienting him enough to have him stumbling further, and before he could reorient himself she jammed a rod through his heart.
Lucinda does not know if she managed to kill her master. She believes not as she did not stick around to be sure the job was done but instead freed her master's dolls then fled the grounds on foot. However, while she has sought somewhere off the beaten path to settle, she is not about to allow him to control her life--or at least she's working on that part. Alaska was chosen simply because it was the last place her master would likely think to look for her and Lucy could at least pretend to try and carve out some sort of life for herself. It got even better when she discovered the newly founded coven.
