Lovitar
Lovitar is the goddess of hurt, the patron of the wronged, and the maiden of Vengeance. The details of how she was wronged are lost to history, but she still nurses the grudge. Lovitar loves pain to an exceptional degree, both her own and inflicting it on others. She appears most often as a heartbreakingly beautiful young woman, pale and holding a dagger. Lovitar is worhipped on a consistent basis most often by Assassians, for the positive spin she puts on their efforts. Lovitar has just as much compassion for the suffering of the whipped slave as she does the scorned schoolboy, and wishes both of them bloody vengeance on their tormentors.

Temples: The temples of Lovitar are frequently constructed of glass; all the better to generate a vendetta when someone breaks the windows. A donation to a temple of Lovitar always comes with an implicit promise: those who have wronged you will suffer. The fact that the priests of Lovitar make this a reality keeps the cult of Lovitar extremely wealthy despite her appeal only being fleeting. In places where the cult of Lovitar is strong, crime is virtually nonexistent, except for sporadic outbreaks of shocking violence.
