Aquina is one of the two largest providers of water in the Solar System. Water is extremely abundant beyond Terra, but is most often found in the form of ice water, or buried deep beneath the crust of whatever body is being mined. Founded shortly after the colonization of Triton, one of Neptune's moons, Aquina quickly rose to the foreground by exploiting the abundance of easily accessible ice water in the planet's orbital region. Unlike its primary rival, Hydros Interplanetary, Aquina's portfolio immediately included a service from mining to pouring the water into a glass. This all-in-one package proved as successful as expected, allowing the company to grow exponentially in the years to come. Much of the Triton Empire's holdings are supplied by Aquina, even though the empire does not have direct stakes in it. It contributes roughly 35% to all water shipped to colonies, with the grand majority located at Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.

Hydros Interplanetary is one of the two largest providers of water in the Solar System. Water is extremely abundant beyond Terra, but is most often found in the form of ice water, or buried deep beneath the crust of whatever body is being mined. Hydros began its business shortly after the colonization boom increased the demand for the shipping of water to the colonies, which obviously did not have bodies of water of their own to rely on as Earth did. Their first endeavor was simply to use specialized equipment to mine large chunks of frozen water on moons, asteroids and other celestial bodies, before shipping them to a prospective buyer. However, the business quickly expanded to also offer immediate processing services, as well as a gigantic distribution network that keeps customers readily, and constantly supplied. Today, the company is a veritable behemoth and one of the most profitable businesses in the Solar System. Employing many tens of thousands in administration alone, it contributes roughly 35% to all water shipped to colonies and even regions on Terra that suffer periodic droughts.

Decklan Interstellar was founded shortly after the UDN began its call for a revival of interest in space exploration and colonization. Originally intended to aid in the planning and construction of the habitat sections of space colonies, its interests shifted to specializing in surface colonies when the Moon and Mars became primary targets for colonization. Since then, they've had a hand in the development of many of the modern techniques and workflows used to successfully guide a colony from planning to completion, and are the minds and hands responsible for many of the colonies on Mars, Ganymede, Oberon, Umbriel and Titan. In recent years, they've had to consolidate their efforts and shift their focus again, this time concentrating more on planning and reconstruction, as the need for entirely new domes has decreased significantly. Akana Motors is a large company specializing in generators for a wide variety of vehicles and crafts ranging from simple automobiles to MAs and sometimes even larger space vessels. It has only fairly recently moved into the MA generator market, but the use of its latest line of deuterium fusion reactors in several widely spread MA designs has proven the step to be most effective.

Bahel-Isamov Industrial is the leading company in high tech applications of xenian to not only MA, but industry as a whole. It was created after the merger between Bahel Universal, a company specializing in high performance and experimental MA weaponry and shield technology, and Isamov Industrial, the company created by its namesake to produce and research the various applications of the new mineral xenian. Bahel immediately saw the benefit to its area of research of the Isamov Drive the moment it was unveiled to the world, and immediately began lobbying to buy the much smaller, upstart company, thereby holding a temporary monopoly on the technology. when Isamov passed away, Bahel Universal paid through its teeth to close the deal before anyone else could, and has since earned back the investment tenfold. While slowly losing its monopoly position on the market, Bahel-Isamov is still the leading company in its sector and supplies expensive, but extremely high-tech hardware to its customers.

Exeros Labs is a relatively new, high tech manufacturer focusing primarily on high performance MA frames, electronics and thermal weaponry. Excelling primarily in the latter, Exeros Labs consistently produced surprisingly reliable, but also powerful laser and plasma weapons. The company has recently received more of a spotlight with its continued development of the refraction rifle, which is likely to become commercially available mid 2257. Exeros Labs also offers MA designs tailored to perfectly accommodate their weapon designs and targeting systems. Despite its success in thermal weaponry, Exeros Labs is still known for being a fairly niche and extremely expensive corporate entity, with the stability of their MAs, radiators and CPUs often found questionable, despite their proven, careful testing.

Jagd Steelyards is a company that sprouted from the Inner Colonization Rush, and expanded further during the second. Originally specializing in heavy machinery for construction, it has slowly made the transfer into the space vessel market, providing impressive designs and fabrication facilities for both personal, business and military goals. Possessing holds across the Solar System, though focused primarily around Mars and Jupiter, it has provided the shipyards required the manufacture the hulls of several of the most famous of space vessels to ever see the light of the Sun. Beyond space vessel hulls, Jagd also has several MA frames on the market, as well as a full design or two, that have met with mediocre success. Knowing the UDN is very much invested in the likes of Savant Galactic Arms and Justina, they instead compete very fiercely with Opal Industries for the attentions of the CIC and its members. While much smaller on the MA market their their rival, they have been doing better in recent years. They have also been buying up high-tech R&D companies for a few decades now, which has sparked rumors that they are trying to expand their military profiles to include a lot of state-of-the-art software and hardware.

Justina is a large corporation founded shortly after the Third World War. Born from brilliant aeronautics experts and driven workers, it was instrumental in getting colony ships off the ground and into the Solar System. Since then, it has been a staple in propulsion technology and the development of spaceworthy materials. Shortly after the First Independence War, it altered its portfolio significantly to begin including propulsion hardware designed specifically for MAs and they soon became one of the first companies to offer thrusters to drastically increase MA mobility. They have also placed lightweight MA frames and designs on the market, with mixed results. Today, Justina retains its position as one of the primary experts on propulsion for a variety of needs and is one of the UDN's primary contractors for the hardware required to make the UDNAF's fast attack MAs efficient and effective out in the field.

Kaiser is one of the premier names on the mechanized armor market, founded by Berthold Kaiser shortly after the Third World War, the company initially specialized in land-based defense vehicles and revolutionary forms of armored plating and even body armor for personnel. With the rising importance of MAs compared to conventional, military components, this focus shifted in the early decades of the 23rd century to work the fresh market. Over they years since, they have delivered highly reliable and extraordinarily sturdy and resilient products, even in fields as fickle as thermal weaponry. Their MA frames are known to be very bulky, but ideal for any kind of heavily armored weapons platform, while their lighter modules are often used in customized assault armors. While often overlooked, their range of radiators is finely tuned to work well with their larger thermal weapons such as the laser and plasma cannons.

Macrotech is one of the biggest names in propulsion technology. Natosan Mechanics is a fairly new corporation born from a large number of wealthy, young entrepreneurs; most originating from Saturn or Uranus. With its significant starting capital, it was able to attract a large amount of talent and experience, both young and old, and quickly grew into one of the fastest growing corporations in the MA industry. Supplying both industrial and military MAs, its market is broad and its products are known for being the perfect mix of quality and price. Most of their high-end, military products are geared towards chemical weaponry and experimental FCS-guided kinetic weaponry such as missile launchers. Early on, the Triton Empire took great interest in their range, primarily because their designs fit well with the direction the Imperial Mustered Soldiery was taking its armored divisions. Since then, Natosan has become one of the largest contributors to standing armies in the Outer Solar System, providing the Triton Empire with several exclusive MA designs that have become part of the empire's core forces.

Neo Han is one of the largest manufacturers of MAs and associated technology, with a main focus on complete designs, head modules and thermal weaponry such as laser rifles and carbines. Neo Han is mostly known for designing MAs that are fairly reliable, but also cheap to manufacture and maintain. Many of their designs have been popular with private military organizations and mercenary groups for decades, though the company holds several lucrative contracts with the UDN and CIC. It conducts very little business with the Triton Empire, most likely because the revenues from the empire's two rivals form a considerable chunk of its yearly profits and they would prefer not to jeopardize these by playing all sides.

Opal Industries is one of the largest corporations in the Solar System. Originally specialized in heavy machinery for a variety of purposes including mining, transportation and construction, it has since expanded its portfolio to include military goals. Opal made a fortune by being the first corporation to net a major contracts to deliver several, specialized vessels intended for surveying and mining when these activities on the moons of Jupiter truly came underway. Beyond valuable experience and money, it also resulted in them gaining their good name in the industry due to the successful and reliable nature of their machines. Opal Industries has almost entirely turned their focus to the colonies and their needs, tailoring many of their products for environments commonly encountered in those circumstances. Zero- or low-gravity, hazardous, cold and cramped environments are often no problem for their machines. This has given them a very good standing with the CIC, to the point where the company moved its headquarters from Houston on Terra, to Ganymede, when Jupiter and its moons proved a veritable gold mine. Opal Industries is the primary contractor for the CCDF and many of the CIC's members, providing them with robust, though somewhat clunky, MA designs and good all-round weaponry.

Orion Manufacturing was one of the first, major corporations to sprout from the massive, rising war economy on Neptune's moon Triton after the declaration of the empire's independence. It grew exponentially through its contracts with the Triton military, which allowed it to be the primary supplier of most standard MAs used in the interplanetary state's armed forces. With the rising importance of MAs on the field of battle, the value of this rapport only increased. Moreover, Orion was often given the lead in research projects into high performance MAs and other new technology. Orion Manufacturing dabbles in just about anything, though it excels in MA and generator technology. It has designed and produced MA, ships and weapons with a heavy focus on reliability and versatility. Orion continues to be held in high regards with the Triton Empire for consistently good results and their close cooperation with the Imperial Weapons Development Department will lead to further, leaping advancements in the near future.

Savant Galactic Arms evolved from the amalgamation of several top weapons manufacturers in Belgium and the Netherlands some time after the Third World War. Seeing greater profit in banding their complementary technology and products together during a time where the world's economy was reeling and affordable, all-in packages were in high demand, these corporations formed Savant Arms (later renamed Savant Galactic Arms during the Inner Solar System Colonization Rush). Since then, SGA has been one of the foremost developers and manufacturers of firearms and MA essentials in the Solar System. Expanding rapidly, their range includes some of the most enduring MA frames, generators, radiators and firearms on the market. Because of their massive expansion, their focus has shifted from standard weaponry to more specialized armaments, delegating the previous focus to subsidiaries. Today, they are heavily subsidized by the UDN and a large portion of the UDNAF's MAs are supplied by SGA.

While expensive, they are top of the line and many MAs that require a wealth of targeting information to function properly, make good use of CounterCell products. DSD Industries focuses its efforts entirely on thermal weaponry of all kinds. Considered one of the industry specialists in the field, they attracted the attention of Orion Manufacturing, who wasted no time acquiring the company during a substantial growth spurt, and has since funded a great many of their projects. Among their most notable accomplishments is the development of the pylon, though the weapon is yet to be made truly efficient on the battlefield for wider use. Their products are usually fairly priced and considerably more reliable than some of the competition.

Guy Garland Heavy Industries was one of the many smaller corporations that sprung to life in the colonies during the latter years of the Inner Solar System Colonization Rush. This has cemented its reputation as being tremendously reliable.

Ishikawa Incorporated is one of the few companies with the broad expertise required to supply a range of deuterium reactors for all manner of platforms. Kai Liang Gongsi is a corporation that was founded only a few years after Syntrea developed the first man-portable laser rifle, with the intent on capitalizing on the advancement as quickly as possible. Neo Han Industrial Metrics is one of the smaller subdivisions of Neo Han Industrial. In its bid to try and cover all bases where MA design and manufacturing is concerned, Neo Han Industrial applied a considerable amount of funds to the development of in-house sensor suites, fire control systems and radar modules to replace the ones they were currently purchasing through deals with competition. Early yields of the division were promising and Neo Han Industrial Metrics was soon founded to oversee the rapid growth, with the first widespread implementation of their products being the M5 Hammerhead and M6 Thresher mechanized armors. Today, Metrics is synonymous with reliability and efficiency, but tends to have trouble finding a place in the high-tech market. Most of its radar modules are considered sub-par, and MAs requiring highly advanced sensors or FCS' will find their portfolio lacking.

NiHilWare is a small company mainly focused on explosives. While offering a wide range of explosive payloads, the only products that have truly sold well are its assortment of mines and MA-mountable mine layer, which have been used by several mercenary forces since the Second Independence War. While cheap, the quality of NiHilWare's products has always been questionable, and its reputation is not the healthiest on the market. Isamov Labs was a research group founded in the mid 2100s by Cyryl Isamov as a subdivision of his quickly growing company Isamov Industrial. Drawing from some of the leading minds within the company, research teams were composed that would pool all of their knowledge into finding new ways to more efficiently handle energy within the Solar System. It did not take long for the developments in the lab to have a significant impact on the portfolio of Bahel Industrial. The research group only truly became famous many decades later when Cyryl's son, Elrin, then both CEO and head researcher of the company, presented the Isamov drive to the amazement of the scientific and economic community. Soon after Elrin's untimely death, Isamov Labs and its parent company were bought by Bahel Universal and the research teams were absorbed into the newly formed corporation's R&D departments. While progress has markedly slowed since the acquisition, research continues to yield impressive technology based on not only the Isamov drive, but also the mineral called xenian.

Syntrea was founded in the late 2000s as a small research company specializing in lenses for a variety of purposes. However, a significant shift in the upper brass by the early 2100s saw the company leaning more and more to military applications than civil. The company is most famous for producing the first prototype of a laser rifle that could be wielded by a single soldier and could even be fired from the hip without a bulky backpack to contain an energy source. They went on to research more advanced methods for manufacturing and purifying focusing lenses, while also developing other thermal weaponry for infantry, vehicles and, decades later, MAs and space vessels. Today, the company has been fairly silent for numerous decades, making few significant advancements.

AstroGate is one of the largest travel agencies and chartering companies in the Solar System. While it has roughly four rivals in its industry, it is unique in that it offers commercial flights from anywhere in the system to anywhere else, while maintaining adherence to the wealth of rules and regulations that differ between the interplanetary states. Aside from the proper paperwork required of them, customers are known to have very little hinder in their travels. Behind the scenes, however, a massive, logistical infrastructure is kept in place which also makes AstroGate one of the largest employers in the Solar System. Much like the Hermes Postal Service, commercial space vessels belonging to their fleets are a very common sight everywhere.

The Hermes Postal Service, or HPS, is one of the largest interplanetary transportation companies in the Solar System. Specializing primarily in private correspondence and shipping, they do provide more secure and tracked transportation options to government and corporate institutes. Almost every city on nearly every planet and colony has an HPS office, though not all of them provide interplanetary services on a regular basis as especially distant locations are heavily subjected to the itineraries of an HPS owned vessel or an HPS-certified carrier. Hermes' reputation is quite sound and while their services for planetary transport (which they also offer) are expensive and a bit sluggish, they are undisputed in their reign over any posted packages that need to travel further. Few space ports go long without having half a dozen HPS-marked freighters docked, so their symbol is well-known and omnipresent.
