Appearance

Out of the water, Liam is just a little over 6' tall. He has dark brown hair that he keeps short, hazel eyes, and a face that could be called pretty for all it's delicate traits, rather hand manly and handsome. He hold himself like a man, however. His body is very lean and cut, though not heavily muscled. His skinned is lightly tanned and remains as such even during the cold month of winter.

When in his siren form, his body from waist down transform into a tail with silvery scales that have a pale tinge of blue to it. He has long flowing fins and his hands become webbed to maximize swimming speed.

Personality

Liam is a sweet and kind man. Although the folklore tend to brand his kind as vengeful and misleading towards humans, Liam is the complete opposite. He would readily jump into the water to go help someone in distress, or to teach them to swim though that might prove a little complicated. He's calm and a very good shoulder to lean on, he knows how to listen and sometimes gives advice (which is definitely not always the wisest). he doesn't like to party, to get drunk or anything of the like. He's a tad lazy, in a 'leaving his socks on the floor' kind of way. His house isn't really dirty; he keeps things clean, but he can be a bit messy. When angry, he will do his best to maintain control, but if he is pushed beyond control, the worst of his races comes out and he becomes violent or lull the one who angered him into a dangerously deep sleep.

History

Liam's story is a simple one. He was born in the coastal town of Winter Harbor, Maine. Her mother was at sea when she gave birth to him. Both of his parents being Sirens, Liam was born one. His first breath was taken under water, near the Schoodic Island, and he knew to swim before he learned to walk. He grew up like the other children, though his parents never had to wrestle him into taking his bath, but rather to get out of it. He had many friends and understood early on that he had to keep his siren nature secret or else something terrible might happen to him.

When he reached fifteen, his father claimed that the call of the ocean was too strong for him, and that the cold water near Maine were nothing compared to the Bahamas where he came from. Obligated to stay behind, his mother and himself moved to Florida to be close to him. His bond with his parents remained strong, even when his mother felt the pull to go join his father. Liam remained on land, with the money his parents had gathered for him through the years.

Liam heard of the Community through another supernatural friend, a witch he had known for years, and decided to see if his application would be accepted. There were many small lakes there and as opposed to his father, Liam enjoyed the colder water.His appication was granted if he would take the job as lifeguard and earn a living there. Excited, he agreed, packed everything he owned and left.
