Ken Haynes
Kenneth (Ken) Haynes was the second son of Eric and Lucy Haynes. His older brother Robert was the big man on campus back in highschool. He was a wide receiver, not the quarterback, but he had a talent for getting open and scoring (both in football and with the girls). Ken in contrast was a bit of a nerd. He never suffered much bullying because his brother was a football player, but he certainly wasn't one of the popular kids.
Ken was in his junior year of high school, taking honor classes, planning for college, but had never been laid. He'd gone to second base quite a few times with his long-time crush and equally nerdy girlfriend, Gwenneth Carson, but she was holding out for marriage and kept her thighs locked.
He was still nervous around girls, but had his head pretty on straight about life. He had a life plan: college probably major in environmental science and then go into the green business. After all that's a growing field and he can save the earth while he's at it. Besides he always liked the outdoors: hiking, camping, fishing and such. He even used to be a boy scout.
Ken was more unusual than he ever dreamed. Pet names: Ken-doll (Gwen), Dude (Gwen), Stud (Anna)
Gwenneth Carson
Junior. Harem Member #2. Gwen has been best friends with Ken since she was eight years old. They are equally nerdy and while they have some different tastes they have a lot in common. They both love anything Joss Whedon made, bad zombie films, sci-fi, fantasy and everything geek. Gwen doesn't enjoy the outdoors as much as Ken, but she does rollerblade with him and enjoys picnics. She wasn't as leg-locked as Ken thought either. In fact she was ready to go all the way. She just wanted her first time to be special.
Gwen is seventeen years old and has her driver's license, but doesn't own her own car. Pet names: Gwennie (Ken), Dude (Ken)
Nichole Williams
Junior. Seventeen. Probable harem member #3. Nichole is Gwen's best female friend. They aren't quite best friends forever, because that place was always taken by Ken in Gwen's heart. However, they were pretty close. Nichole is a band geek through and through. She is musically talneted, started out with piano lessons at a young age. She plays sax in marching band and is teaching herself guitar. She is without a doubt loyal to Gwen. She had really liked Gwen and Ken together and thought they were so romantic. She is micheiveous, a prankster and cultivates a goofy fashion sense. For example, wearing loud and deliberately missmatched socks. She always maintains that vampires are much cooler than zombies. She also gushes about Twilight to Gwen, which she liked (good beefcake in the movies), but more because sparkly vampires irritate Gwen (and Ken) more than the usual variety.
Emma Stranger
Emma is one of Gwen's best friends. She is a major teacher's pet and know-it-all about everything to do with science. Emotionally she is a bit stunted. She gets along better with adults than with others her own age. Emma really only has two friends: Gwen Carson and Nichole Williams. Almost everyone else finds her irritating. She is an only child. Her parents are both dentists and her family is comfortably well off and a bit obsessed with dental hygine.
Ken and Gwen have sometimes encouraged Emma towards David Jones, thinking the two science nerds would have a lot in common. However, David gives Emma the creeps. While he may fool others she can see his sociopathic tendencies too clearly. She judges him as the kid most likely to go Columbine on the school - and she's right, but no one else realizes it.
Emma has a bit of a Cassandra thing going on. She'll sometimes make statements that others just don't get (like seeing David for who he is). It isn't until later in hindsight that others realize that she was right all along.
She is a bit of a klutz, tripping, knocking things over and spilling things. Partly this is social nervousness and she is much more likely to have an accident when thrust into a social situation (other than being called on in class). Sexually she is a bit repressed because good girls don't do those things.
NOTE: The Cassandra insight is to allow the authors to make ironic foreshadowing comments, but other characters will ignore them.
David Jones
Junior, sixteen. David is the science nerd of the junior grade. He is all nerd and no geek, meaning he is serious about serious topics and doesn't like science-fiction, videogames, movies or the other usual geek activities. He is all into biology, chemistry and physics. He actually reads Scientific American. He plans to college and get a Ph.D. He just hasn't decided what science to specialize in yet. When he isn't reading college-level science textbooks he surfs the internet for odd facts and porn. He is a major porn hound with a huge collection encrypted on his hard drive. David has read everything he can about human sexuality and has never asked a girl out on a date. David is very bright, but he comes off as a know-it-all and believes he is even smarter than he actually is. He'll often stake out an extreme position on a topic based on a little bit of research without understanding all the nuances of things. He thinks he is smarter than most adults including his teachers. David is a borderline sociopath. He does feel human emotions, but approaches things in a logical manner and has very little empathy for others.
As Ken's friend, David totally understands why he went for Anna. Anna is a total babe. Ken is a hero in David's eyes. Their friendship is a little lop-sided. David really doesn't have any friends except Ken. Meanwhile Ken counts David as a friend, but they don't really hang out very often. David was very much a second-choice friend for Ken.
NOTE: While David is seemingly just a science nerd, he will become suspicious of Ken's success in time and will follow-up on clues that other students and adults would overlook. David may evolve into a villain who seeks to understand and steal the source of Ken's ability to seduce women.
Jamie Wormald
| Jamie is Ken's best male friend. They met back in boy scouts. The went on camping trips, earned badges together and did boy stuff. Even when girls still had cooties Gwen was always in the picture but Ken and Jamie used to be pretty close. They started to drift apart in junior high school when Jamie became more and more a couch potato. Jamie eats a lot and spends most of the rest of his time watching TV and playing video games. Ken shares some of the passion for video games, but not to the extant that Jamie does. He also misses having a companion for his outdoorsy interests. Jamie has grown less and less interested in hiking, camping and fishing. Jamie frequently takes a hand held game to school and plays it when he can get away with it. Despite his many flaws, Jamie is a true friend. |
Kumiko Sasaki
Sophmore, seventeen. Kumiko appears on the surface to be the typical magna/cartoon geek. She adores the shows, knows all the characters, draws them all the time, and even cosplays. Scratch the surface and you'll find something more.
Kumiko is one of the few asian students in a school that is mostly white American middle-class. Kumiko is not middle class. Her mother works for minimum wage at the family businesses. Kumiko's uncle owns a donut shop and a drycleaner both of which turn a healthy profit, but pays his sister minimum wage. That is the future planned for Kumiko, to be a minimum wage waitress for her uncle's business all her life.
Kumiko doesn't agree with this plan. She wants something better for her life. She aspires to be an artist. She speaks some Japanese and she found that brought her not just acceptance but lots of attention in the geek circles at school. While not every geek is a japanophile, many of them do like japanese animation. Kumiko's ability to translate and explain some things about Japan made her their guru on all things magma and Japan. That's what initially caused Kumiko's interest. As it brought her praise and attention she dived into more.
Kumiko is a virgin, but her exploration of all things Japanese led her into hentai and she has vivid sex fantasies of herself as a slave girl, being raped by a tentacle beast, of bukkake. She also has an oral fixation. Kumiko tends to nibble on her pens and pencils whenever she is drawing or studying.
She is good friends with Nichole, but Nina Chang is her best friend
NOTE: She has a very strong submissive streak in her, trained into her by her family from a young age. However, that is at odds with her dreams. That submissive streak would readily reorient to serve Ken and the senior harem girls.
Chad Corbett
| Senior, Band leader. Chad has really big hair and a perpetual enthusiasm that grates on the nerves, but grows on people - like cancer. |
Flag Squad
Anna Kendrick
Junior. Harem Member #1. Anna Kendrick is the flag squad's de facto leader, a rather level headed brunette with a heartwarming smile. She easily could've been a straight out member of the cheerleading squad, she had the personality and upbringing and popularity to do so, but willfully associated with the slightly more dorky flag squad girls, and thus, she was considered one of them by association. Anna is good with people. She is a genuinely kind people and has a gift for setting people at ease and defusing tension. Anna has a habit of flashing a warm toothy cheerleader smile at just about everyone. In someone else it would be fake. Anna really is that open-hearted.
Hailey Young
Hailey Young is a cute blonde with a sarcastic bite. Unlike a fair majority of the Seniors at this school, she acts well below her age. She acted flirty, but did so in such a sarcastic manner that to her classmates it was ridiculous and becoming serious unfunny and to the adults, it was either uncomfortable, or simply annoying. Her close friends found it entertaining though.
Molly Grayson
| Molly Grayson is the sterotypical bubbly blonde. Molly is a sixteen year old sophmore, but acts much younger. She is an overly positive, bright eyed, gregarious ball of energy. Excitable and energetic. She practically bleeded being hyperactive and happy all the time, again to the point of being considered a dork. Anyone who started impromptu cheer and dance sessions in the hallway or had little volume control on their voices when they got even mildly excited was just asking to be ostracized. Molly also has a habit of mangling the English language in ways that she thinks are cute, but make her sound even younger than she already is. |
Casey Chilton
| Junior, seventeen Junior Cheer Captain. Not really a friend of Anna outside of school, but when they become seniors, they realize they are going to be the popular girls. They are friendly, lightly competitive, in school though. But nothing personal. She thinks Madison is cool. Has a brother, Aiden. |
Cheerleaders
Madison Monroe
| Senior, 18.
Madison is head cheerleader and self-coronated Queen of the Senior Class. She is usually accompanied by her entrourage, her two co-captains. Madison has a love-hate relation with both girls and might be bitchy to friendly to them on any given day, but they still hung on her every word and gesture. Bitchy, stuck-up, reflexively catty and very much aware that she is queen of the school. As far as she is concerned classes are a distraction. Madison has large full breasts that she is inordinately proud of and she flaunts them all the time. She's changed boyfriends many times, but her current boyfriend is naturally the school quaterback. Notes: Madison is a minor villain who will mostly mock Ken's harem as his sheep while being puzzled why they would all hang onto him.

Marion Price
| Senior, 18. Cheerleader and co-captain. Usually seen beside Madison. She is a bit more trim and shorter then Madison, made up for it, at least on the cheer team by having assets that make her body look even more curvaceous. |
Jordan Sullivan
| Senior, 18. Cheerleader and co-captain. Usually seen beside Madison. In other company she'd be considered pretty, next to Madison and Marion she is outshown. |
Piper Williams
| Senior, eighteen. One of Madisons friends, Piper is also Nichole’s older sister by one year and is far more of a cheerleader and popular girl then her more rebellious younger sibling. The contradictions are seen everywhere, in their hobbies, both can sing well but Piper prefers photography as opposed to musical instruments, in their fashion sense, Piper is always seen wearing the current styles and fashion and never loud, as well as movies and media with Piper loving romcoms exclusively, though they both are fans of Twilight. While rumors spread of Nichole being a lesbian, Piper is well known for having dated more then a couple different guys including Robert a few times, though not enough to get the ‘slutty’ reputation. She tends to treat those younger then her, including Ken and the Flag Squad girls for example, exactly how she treats her own younger sister, cheerfully polite and unintentionally patronizing and condescending at the same time |
Susie Carroll
| Junior, 17. Cheerleader. Spunky redhead whose firmly in the Madison camp and Anna's main rival in the Junior class. Unlike Casey, Susie has a healthy dislike for Anna and wishes to replace her on the Flag Squad and is more or less trying to model herself after biggest role models, the Senior Cheer Captains including Madison. |
Gao Yang
| Sophomore, Sixteen. Cheerleader. Asian-American classmate of Gao and an acquaintance of hers though they cannot be called friends. She is also one of the youngest cheerleaders on the squad along with Molly as well, though she doesn't have the distinction (or stigma) of being on the Flag Squad. She is also a co-worker of Senior Class President Jackie Lasseter at the Kahuna Burger. |
Jocks
Robert Haynes
| Robert was the big man on campus back in highschool. He was a wide receiver, not the quarterback, but he had a talent for getting open and scoring (both in football and with the girls). He is now a sophmore in college and still loves to party it up when he comes home. Robert is a male slut and hops from bed to bed on a regular basis. |
Miesha Tatchell
Junior, Eighteen. Miesha Tatchell is an athlete and loves sports and anything involving physical activity. The main reason she does is because she’s an extremely competitive person, relishing and enjoying in pushing her own limits to help better and improve herself and also because she wants to be accepted as one of the guys, while still embracing the fact she’s a woman and embrace her feminine side. She competes in wrestling with the Mens team during the winter, martial arts as a hobby bordering on obsession, and plays rugby, soccer and swimming depending on the season. Academically however, she’s in a bit of a struggle, being notable as one of the few girls who had to repeat a grade, a humbling experience she doesn’t want to experience again.
She’s close friends with Anna but considers Logan her best friend, though she feels protective of all of her friends. Romance wise, she pursues relationships, but isn’t involved in it very emotionally, as she treats sex as a physically enjoyable activity and even finds herself rather competitive in the bedroom as well. Ultimately, she does have her girly habits, and thus loves cooking and baking and can be competitive in that as well, if given the opportunity.
Tucker Bones
| Junior, seventeen. Anna Kendrick's ex-boyfriend. They recently broke up. Tucker is football player. It's not just what he does. That's how he defines himself. He is a football player first. He is a wider receiver and a reasonable good one. He may get a small scholarship for football, but it probably won't be at a big name school. Still, he'll be getting a paid education. One of the best perks of being a football players - girls. All the high school girls love a football player. Another perk, teachers cut him slack. What's not to love?
Tucker can be an abrasive jackass. He is very self-centered and always has to be the life of the party. He picks on nerds just because it is fun. However, he isn't entirely stupid about it. He keeps down to the level where they can't point the finger at him. Bumping them in the hall, knocking their books down, stuff like that is all fair game. It was time to cut Anna loose as a girlfriend. She didn't get that she was obligated to put out because he played football. Plenty of other girls would be thrilled to date him. Although it burned his ass to see that Kenny kid with Anna. Especially when Kenny seemed to have scored when he didn't. Even worse that she is practically having a public orgasm in the hallways of the school. NOTES: Kenny is a minor thug. He's a bully, but not overly dangerous. He'll cause trouble when there is an opportunity, but he doesn't go out of his way plotting trouble. |
Logan Stanhope
Junior, seventeen. Logan is into atheletics, she runs track in spring, but basketball is her thing. She plays forward and is very aggressive both on and off the court. She is a close friend and work-out buddy with Anna. Their friendship revolves more around hanging out and doing physical things. Logan doesn't do the emotional support well or the talking thing. She is still a tom-boy at heart, but doesn't look it now. Anna drives her own car.
Bruce Talbon
| Senior eighteen. Bruce is a farmboy. He has chores on the family farm everyday before and after school. Hard work built hard muscle and he is a defensive end, big but fast. He likes to make threats, but his bark is worse than his bite. He is only a verbal bully and mostly that is just because it is expected. He keeps his agression on the field, but he'll protect his reputation. For example, when Ken sat in his chair. Ken perfectly fits in as a Gorilla. He loves doing the gorilla chest pound at appropriate moments. He's not a total jackass, but he is Tucker's friend first. That means he'll back Tucker up, even intimidate Ken and harass Anna. He wouldn't beat Ken up for Tucker, but he wouldn't turn Tucker in either. |
Donna Trimble
Junior, seventeen. Donna is the ice princess of the school. Most people think she is cold and uncaring and they worship the ground she walks on. Donna has wealth, looks and talent. She's a single's skater and competes internationally, sometimes taking a week off from school to go to China or France or wherever an international skating event is taking place. Currently Donna is ranked sixth women's skater in the United States - not good enough to make team USA for the olympics. She has one year to get better. Donna works hard on that goal every single day, but in truth it isn't even her goal. It is her mother's goal. Her rich mother wants her daughter to fulfill the dream she gave up and become an olympic medalist. Donna isn't as stuck up as everyone thinks at school. She just gets put on a pedastal and doesn't know how to relate. What she really wants is friends and a family. She doesn't even date, she intimidates most high school boys away and the few who have approached her didn't impress her. She is already a near world-class athlete herself. It takes more than merely playing football to get her attention.
Even though Donna is only a junior, Madison regards her as her one true competition for ruling the school. Donna scares Madison because with her wealth, looks and talent, she could take over the school. What Madison doesn't realize is that Donna just doesn't care.
Kent Boynton
| Junior, Seventeen. Kent’s passion is dancing, which is the reason why he is almost perpetually ridiculed. It’s largely faded now, as most people tend to get more mature about things and gay jokes which aren’t do eventually get pretty old. Kent himself isn’t very bothered by what other people think and is himself an extremely effusive and somewhat eccentric personality, with little volume control on his laughter, easily excited and an extremely bubbly attitude. Molly and him are very good friends, and they even dated for a while, but their being together drove everyone around them progressively more insane with their constant antics. Kent is also a friend of Donna, mainly because they both enjoy ice skating and dancing and Donna finds Kent to be the most non-threatening guy who isn’t a total loser or geek. Plus he’s non-judgmental and completely uninterested in school drama and politics. |
Patrick Hunter
| Senior, Eighteen. Patrick should be the most popular person in school, being the football teams highly skilled quarterback and despite his strenuous efforts to the contrary, he’s still incredibly popular. Patrick is accomplished both athletically and academically, and his main qualities as a Quarterback are his uncanny ability to see the field and read defenses as opposed to exceptional physical ability. He’s still has lots of natural talent, but the brains puts him over the edge. Off the field though, he’s fairly soft spoken and rather subdued as a personality. Though not shy in the slightest, he simply exhibits a great more deal self control and maturity then most of his teammates. He isn’t bashful about dating the hot girls at school of course, but lacks commitment in his relationships. He recently broke up with Madison since they are completely opposite personalities though chances are with Homecoming, they’re the frontrunners for the Royal Couple. |
Goths/Punks/Rebels
Nina Chang
Junior, seventeen. Nina's pale complexion isn't just a lack of sun. She is an albino. She is part Chinese, her grandparents immigrated to the US just prior to WW2, but she is all American. Nina had a hard time in grade school because of her appearance. She looked different and elementary kids can be cruel to those who are different. She was taunted, teased and called Casper and ghost. Long before other kids sorted out into popular and unpopular, Nina was outcast, the different, the other. Not very surprisingly she made friends with another different kid, Kumiko Sasaki.
Desperate for acceptance, Nina was one of the first girls in junior high to have sex. It wasn't good sex and was almost date rape. Nina didn't enjoy it. She just didn't fight it. She just let it happen. She wasn't the first girl of her grade to have sex, but she was one of the first that was publicly outed when her first boyfriend bragged to everyone about banging the ghost. Nina quickly turned into the school slut, at least reputation wise. Partly it was true. She slept around a lot. Desperate for acceptance she'd often go down or put out for a guy on the first date. However, more boys have bragged about bagging the ghost than she ever really slept with.
By highschool Nina was part of the goth/punk/rebel crowd and left the nerd herd behind although she is still best friends with Kumiko Sasaki. Nina usually goes for the white goth look, actively flaunting her ghostly look that she had been teased for in elementary school. Sometimes she'll go for regular goth, but almost all her clothing is black or white. She doesn't do piercings, but is fond of facepainting and press on jewelry applied to her face. She goes to raves and parties all the time, but is still empty inside. Self-confidence and Nina parted ways back in elementary school. She is starting to drift into drugs, mostly pot and ectasy. The only time she's had an orgasm with a guy has been when she is high on ectasy.
Average Students
Naomi Banks
Junior, seventeen. Naomi is in the AV club, the school newspaper and the yearbook. She is really into photography, but she dreams of being a reporter someday. While most of the newspapers are in decline she feels that the world is about to see a media explosion. Reporting in the future will be a much more dynamic web-based media and will involve in ways no one can predict now. To that end she writes a blog, Black Snowflake, in which she wanted to write real meaningful stories about serious issues going on in highschool and around town. She wanted it to be about things like cutting, anorexia, censorship and teen suicide. So far she hasn't done so well at investigative reporting. She has written several rants about state government cutting funds to schools, which have resulted in teacher layoffs and increased class sizes. While no one in the school administration can officially support her, the fact that her blogs actually got some students and parents motivated about school funding did not go unnoticed. As a result, she has been given a lot of freedom to skip class and attend school events in search of stories. The administration is expecting more stories about the impact of the loss of funding. Naomi wants something with more meat to it.
Part of what has been holding Naomi back as a reporter is she is a little bit introverted. She loves taking photography and making web pages, but she doesn't really do that good at interviewing or making contacts. She'd be happier behind the camera instead of in front of it, but she hasn't realized that about herself. She's in awe of the strong women reporters she sees on TV and movies and wants to be them. Her approach is more sitting in the background, taking lots of pictures and only belatedly interviewing when she has to.
Naomi is confused about her sexuality. She had one steady boyfriend and eventually did everything up to oral with him, but didn't want to sleep with him. Something told her that he just wasn't the one. Later she had a short relationship with another girl that didn't get past kissing, but had more real emotion to it than her relationship with her ex-boyfriend. Now she doesn't know if she is bi or a lesbian. She doesn't write about this in her blog, it just mentions her dating.
NOTES: Naomi will become a minor obstacle when the Anna-Ken-Gwen relationship becomes public as a ménage à trois. She'll sense a story. After all the school has some public gay and lesbian couples but a ménage à trois is new. Maybe that would be worth writing about. That will attract her interest and if she discovers that Ken is collecting a harem, she will switch into full stalking mode. She'll suspect he is becoming some kind of cult leader.
Allyson Pilkey
| Sophmore. Went with Tucker Bones to homecoming, but spent most of the time on her cellphone. Logan claimed she was a 'special' girl and the coach's adopted duaghter and had Aspergers or something. Judging by her quick wit and socialization she probably doesn't have Aspergers. |
Jackie Lasseter
| Eighteen. Senior Class President. Jackie (or Jacqueline) is a cute and rather unassuming brunette. She's very outgoing, enjoys her office and makes short enthusiastic speaches. |
Casey's current boyfriend. Has a nice and kind demeanor and largely unassociated when it comes to school politics. He's an unremarkable football player, but is more noted as a talented track and field athlete and exceptional in tennis.
Teachers/Coaches
Coach Allie Lane
Allie lane is a new teacher fresh out of college teaching high school for the first time. She is an assistant coach for the girl's basketball team and teaches history. Coaching is her passion, but a coach/teacher is a lot more hireable than just a coach. She loves basketball and hopes to work her way up to head coach for the girl's basketball team. She is single and sweating her first year of teaching and has no time for committments. She is a tease and enjoys the attentions and the stutters of her male students. She has no intention of ever having an affair with a student. She just likes to flaunt it.
Miss Silverman
Miss Silverman is very plain looking. Pale skin, red hair always in a bun, and she wears little, short black boots on her feet. Her dresses are all identical except for the material. She probably makes them all herself from a McCall’s pattern. All boxed dresses, a pocket on each side, collar, and three button on top. She is the epitome of the word old maid, but she cares about her French classes. Part of every class is book learning: grammar, vocabulary and culture, but an equal part of her teaching involves encouraging class discussions in French. She sometimes kicks off the discussions by sharing tales of her own life and various trips she'd made to France. She tries to get the class involved and doesn't care if side conversations happen - as long as they are in French.
Parents
Annette Haynes
| Mother of Ken Haynes. Insurance Agent. She is a perfectionist and a workaholic. Her attitude toward Robert (and Ken) with regard to serious problems (like Robert being a male slut) is typically a Sergeant Schultz, I know nothing attitude. As long as she can pretend it isn't happening, she doesn't have to deal with the reality. She also spends a lot of her time growing her roses. She is quite proud of them. |
Eugene Haynes
| Father of Ken Haynes. Loan Officer. Eugene works at a local bank. They're strictly a local savings and loans bank, not an investment bank. Eugene is quick to point out that his bank had nothing to do with the Wall Street crash and his bank has do nothing but make small business loans and personal loans to the community for years. He believes the bank where he works provides a valuable service. They charge more in fees because they are not a big conglomerate, but they are more personal. Eugene is sometimes witty and sarcastic and has enjoyed living vicariously through his son's sexual conquests. |
Jeffrey Kendrick
| Anna Kendricks father. He’s a casual, progressive and extremely sympathetic, perhaps overly so, father figure to Anna and while he’s proud of the young woman his daughter has become, is perpetually perplexed at how he raised such a straightlaced young lady whose become a cheerleader, or flag squad leader of all things. He does IT work for various nonprofits and thus spends a lot of time on the computer with his second job, which is a lot of blogging and freelance journalism. |
Edeline Kendrick
| Edeline works at a local food co-op in a variety of jobs including as a buyer/seller, management, accounting and various other administrative positions, after having spent most of her work life bouncing around various clerical and office jobs before finally doing something she believed in. Like her husband, she takes a very understanding and counseling role in Anna’s life and while she tries to be non-judgmental, she does take issue with how Anna seems to relish in her ‘conservative’ rebellion against her parents. While Jeffrey prefers a more hands off approach, Edeline is a bit of a worrier and exceptionally doting and proves to be the only tension in the family in any real sense of the word. |
Christine Williams
| Sometimes mistaken for the older sister of her daughters Piper and Nichole, Christine is a young single mother. She's a strong headed woman, having had her children young, but still finishing her medical degree and specializing as an OB/GYN. She instigated what started out to be a nasty divorce against her husband. She'd had him tailed by a private investigator and evidence of multiple affairs. By that time Christina's practice had taken off and she didn't want money. She wanted the house and full custody - and got both.
She is very sympathetic to the plight of teenaged mothers having been one herself. She had a conservative upbringing and started opposed to abortion. After all she'd managed to raise two daughters and have a career, but working as an OB/GYN she saw for herself the consequences of bringing an unwanted child into the world. She firmly supports a woman's right to choose and performs abortions herself. She hates the politicizing of abortion, particularly as led by the Republicans. She feels the barriers to abortion are wrong. If an abortion is to be done, it should be done early, for the health of the mother and while the baby is still a small clump of cells. She regards the barriers to abortion as delaying abortions and pushing them into the second trimester. She refuses to do second trimester abortions on principle unless the health of the mother is at stake. Her stance on abortion has pushed her into the liberal camp, something she has passed on to her two teenaged daughters. |
