Kizzy grew up in a stable home, a middle child of four children. Her parents own an inn in the wizard’s hamlet of Hollyhock Hill in northern England. Though Kizzy had few memories of her earliest childhood, she grew up on stories of the Order of the Phoenix and her Uncle Kingsley which made a deep impression on her. As exciting as the tales of his exploits during the war were, Kizzy was equally impressed by what her uncle had achieved during his time as MoM and her interest in government caught her uncle’s attention and made her a favored niece. Kizzy’s parents provided intelligence during the war but were removed from most of the fighting as they were not as skilled as Kingsley in such matters.
Kizzy’s family had expectations for her and she rarely failed to live up to them. She was a model student, a graduate of Hogwarts and a Gryffindor, who could sometimes be a bit socially awkward in her tendency to perhaps try too hard and be a stickler for rules. She was aware that she would always be associated with her uncle. She proved herself a hard worker in various internships that she would undertake and was thrilled recently to get a junior position in the Minister's office. She is sensitive to those who suggest nepotism as the reason for her success but it only makes her work that much harder to prove herself. She is the sort who gets consumed by her work, her personal life always taking a back seat, a tendency which has only grown worse since she got her position in the Minister's office, and she's shown herself to be an efficient and organized addition to the office.
She maybe isn’t quite as calm, cool, and collected as she’d like to think she is and often seems a little harried by her workload but she has always come through in a pinch. She doesn't cut loose very often but when she does, she has a good time. She loves to dance and gets a little flirty when she has a couple drinks. She recently had a break-up with an older man who wasn't very good for and has since sworn off dating but of course those kind of vows are hard to keep which is why it's doubly important for her to keep busy.
