A Little Deeper

The Cale family always had a history for being elitist. They felt the Cale bloodline was one of the strongest and best in the Wizarding World. Joshua was very different from this. despite being a pureblood wizard, he feels those born from muggles are possibly even stronger in magic, under the theory that "they were chosen by magic". Growing up he was always resilient of the elitist conditioning, never caring for their "fancy food and tight robes". Able to use his families wealth however, he was able to find some "approved" activities of his parents that he took great joy in watching, getting VIP seats to professional Dueling and Quidditch matches. As time progressed at the JWA, he made muggle born and magic born friends who were able to take him into the non magical world where sometimes he wished he could live forever. He cannot wait to go to Hogwarts and finish his magical education, so he can make the Cale legacy something different from the smug elitist they have been made out to be.
