Personality
Vain: Jamie sometimes stays in the mirror looking at herself for some type of imperfection or flaw. It is common for her to carry around a portable mirror to ensure there isn't something on her face or in her hair. She knows her face is one of greatest assets and plans to use it to her benefit before it slips away with old age. Due to this, Jamie goes through great lengths to stay in shape along with following many other shortcuts for beauty. Materialistic:She loves looking her best in different types of clothing. Jamie would like to think that her adaptability can let her blend in any crowd without much difficulty. She truly does believe in the saying that life is a stage and everyone plays a specific role inside of it. Yet she knows that people will either love or hate her since she refuses to drastically change herself to appease someone.
Selfish: If Jamie can’t see some type of benefit in a friendship or relationship, she won’t see a reason to waste her time in a person’s presence. In her point of view, the only way to succeed in the world is to make friends of importance or use imbeciles to claw her way towards a comfortable lifestyle. Motivated: Upon noticing something worth her time, Jamie is almost addicted to succeeding. It doesn’t matter how long it might take for her to obtain her target since she’s prone to not giving up on her desires. An example of her motivation is that she never fails to forget her dream of creating a fashion line. She makes it a requirement to draw a design in her tablet. Goal Oriented: Jamie understands people without goals in life are likely to fail and become one of those unimportant and forgotten faces in the masses. Right now, one of her main goals is to become a great designer for wizards and witches since she would love to create her own magical fashion shows for the greater public. Plus, there are some magical folk who really need a lesson in what’s hot and what’s not. It often takes a little bit of pushing people over to get to the top of success. Jamie understands this completely, and fully intends on reaching her goals by any means necessary.

A Little Deeper
|
Jamie grew in up in a single parent household after her sperm donor left before she could even imprint his face into her memory. Her mother, Delia, long burned the physical memory of him from their apartment so Jamie grew up without much of a stable male influence in her life. Her mother, a self-indulgent addict, worked different odd jobs to get just enough money for rent, food, funds to fuel her drug addiction. It isn’t uncommon for some type of need to be eliminated such as electricity, gas, or even hot water since her mother would forget to pay the bill. Jamie was raised around the creepiest of the low since sometimes her mother’s odd jobs included selling toys given to Jamie by her grandmother.
The only babysitter Jamie ever had growing up was the women walking down the runway on television, and she knew from a young age that their glamorous lifestyle looked much better than her own. Jamie found out from a young age that her face could get her different type of stuff from her peers. Candy along with people to do her homework. Just flashing a smile along with giving them her award-winning stare usually produced some type of positive effect for her. When her mother noticed her daughter’s gift, she tried to exploit it for her own benefit rather than steer her daughter away from her own path. For a while, Jamie manipulated money from her male admirers with sweet words to give to her mother. It was only one night when her mother pushed her too far, that she discovered that she wasn’t exactly normal. Thus began her life in the Junior Wizarding Academy after arguing with her mother for the right to attend the school. The school was an avenue from escape in the daily hell her mother often created for them. One evening during one of her mother many outings, Jamie was left outside in the rain for many hours while her mother partied it up with her dealer. She doesn't know to this day if her mother forgot about her or not since she never bothered to ask, but a person walking by took her to the local police station, thinking she was a lost child or abandoned. Thus began the process of strange people with concerned faces trying to place her out of her mom's house due to the claim of Delia being an unfit parent. Despite their differences, Jamie never wants to be separated from her mother since the woman is the only constant part of her life. She knows her mother’s rituals along with the type of care needed to help her mother get over one of her long nights out. The relationship between Delia and Jamie is almost backwards since Jamie sometimes takes the role of parent in their apartment. Plus Jamie has the philosophy to stay with the devil she knows rather than learning another one. The only thing that prevented her from being taken away was the intervention of her grandmother. She was forced to live with the grandmother until her mother cleaned up her act enough to get people off their backs. During her stay, her grandmother tried to get Jamie out of some of her ways, but it was far too late to save her from that similar mindset plaguing her mother. |

Mother: Jamie's mother is a muggle born. It has been rumored through listening to her grandmother that her mother was not always in such a state of despair. There was once a time when her mother was headed towards being a successful individual but something happened in the years before Jamie was born to change her mother drastically. Now, her career is being self-employed with methods of thievery used to sell stolen products to feed her addiction. Occasionally, her mother engages in other activities with men for different purposes. Her mother sometimes chooses to call her a Christmas curse or blessing, depending on her mood. Father: Her father is unknown. When Jamie was younger, she heard people talk about him when they didn't think she's listening to their conversation. It's never enough information for her to get a grasp on what exactly made him leave her mother if they were together or if he was just a one night stand with her mom. Either way, she doesn't care too much for him, and his absence has shaped opinions in her mind. Grandmother: Jamie's grandmother is a woman stuck working in a nine to five that is just enough to support herself. She isn't able to retire comfortably due to lack of funds. Jamie spent a little time with her grandmother growing up but didn't like how strict the woman was on her. Even though they don't exactly get along, Jamie is fond of the old woman even though she won't ever admit it to her. Aunt: Jamie's aunt is a muggle woman of contradictions. She works as a counselor in a high school, and often tells Jamie's grandmother that her sister and niece are a lost cause. Jamie, personally, can't stand her since she doesn't like how the woman looks down on her as if she is the next degenerate in their family to cause her grandmother's health to decline from worry. |
