Personality
Jack tries his best to put on a tough guy persona, as such he often appears, (or tries to appear anyway) as someone who doesn't care in general. And is often quick to answer challenges because tough guy don't fear anything. In reality Jack is very good natured, if a bit impulsive and naive. |
A Little Deeper

Jack is the second born son of Eri and Walter Sullivan. His parents and his older brother are all muggles, and as far as anyone knows have always been muggles, as such Jack went to muggle school early in life. He was a very skinny child and his good nature and kindness was often made him a easy target for bullies. There were a few key incidents such receiving a massive wedgy in the middle of lunch which lead to him running away in embarrassment and smashing into another student's lunch tray. Or another time when he was locked into the tiny janitor's closet. Though that was when he had his first display of magic, when the obstacles keeping him pinned in suddenly vanished.
When he was accepted into the academy he was very determined not to be the target for bullies and created a image of himself that would seem "tough." He would show a lack of interest in anything around him, but if challenged would make sure to puff his chest back at anyone trying to pick on him. No one knew him as the tiny boy he was in the muggle world and he spent his first couple of years getting in trouble left and right to make sure no one saw him as a target. This affect his grades a bit as he skipped homework and other assignments trying to garner what he figured would give him respect.
Towards the end of his stay at the academy he got a little older and a little wiser. After being given one last chance to take his opportunity seriously Jack managed to make a massive turn around with his grades. Though inside class in the eyes of others he tried to appear uninterested in what they were teaching him, he would go through great lengths to study in private, if it meant waking up before everyone, or finding a nice secluded spot to get serious about his work he was very determined to make sure he passed, but was unwiling to let himself seem weak doing it.
Since coming to Hogwarts Jack's first year started out as you'd expect someone who has awkward social habits, along with a desire not to fail. He spent a lot of time by himself brooding and studying. He had been excited to try out for quidditch however he allowed a Huffelpuff to get the better in taunts and he was given detention for pulling a prank inside of the boys bathroom. This lead to him missing tryouts and kept him off the team for the year. He began to excel at charms, however potions were definitely a problem and he ended up forming a bit of a study partner with a first year ravenclaw who needed help with charms. For the most part Jack kept to himself and managed to avoid a good deal of the events that took place.
The second year thus far has been a bit of a break out year, despite more bad luck with his hopes for the quidditch team, this time being sick with dragon pox in the infirmary. Once he was healthy he went back to business as usual. This year however he managed to be more social befriending a few students as well as fitting into "The Pride". More then anything he found himself drawn to a few rumors floating around school. And upon witnessing and hearing about further the rapid weather changes he's taken a few chances to wandering the halls aimlessly to see if he could spot a group of students that might Order of the Phoenix like or something close to that. He of course hadn't been successful in any of the aimless wandering.
Worst Memory: He was bullied in muggle school, the worst of which had Chet Grisham giving him a massive wedgy in the middle of the lunch room, when he was let go Jack ran without thinking and ending up slamming into someone's lunch tray furthering his humilation.
Best Memory: Discovering that magic was real and that he could preform it. What is more facinating then discovering something as vast and amazing as magic? Well maybe getting accepted to hogwarts when he turned 16.
Favorite Animal(s) Has a little owl named Anila. Otherwise loves winged creatures, the entire idea of flight is very amazing to him. In particular he's always wanted to meet a phoenix.
