Character Creator: Lord Drake   Why is this character in the specified house? Looking at him in depth one could say that he sort of lacked all the primamry qualities to go into any other House. Griffyndor wasn't the House he was most suited for... it was the ONLY house he was suited for. How did your character react to this news? Giacomo didn't mind much which House he was in. Gryffindor was a famous House and people there was nice so he felt glad of the hat's choice. He was mainly hoping to not end up in Slytherin since he heard that there were several assholes there. Are his/her parents former house mates of this house? No. His mother was a muggle and the wizards in his family graduated at Beubaxtons. What traits associated with the house are noticeable in this character? He is loyal and his passionate/stubborn inclinations actually turn his loyalty into a fierce protectiveness of his ideals and of those he cares for. He will always stand up for what he believes in. These are all Gryffindor traits. Skills / Abilities: Name it and – as long as it is not a broom – Giacomo can drive it like a pro. Personality

Adventurous – Giacomo loves adventure. Not necessarily the life threatening, heart wrenching kind... actually the less he risks to be killed, the better. Still, if the experience was interesting enough to be worth it there is no saying if the Torrinpietra elderboy would back off from danger. He likes the thrill of the new discovery and the rush of not knowing what is about to happen. Just looking at his smiling face and his blue eyes one can clearly see that he is the kind of peron who would end up going... where no man has been before. Funny – Giacomo likes jokes and has an almost unbreakable sense of humor. This comes from the fact that when his mother had her breakdown and had to divorce and be partially obliviated he was old enough to understand well what was happening. He refused to let himself down and woved to never give up against depression. He thinks that tackling life with a smile and a giggle is better than tackling them without. Stubborn – Once he has set himself on a goal, there is no swaying Giacomo Torrinpietra. He is patient enough to wait the time needed to succeed but he will never stop trying. He does not change his mind easily and the only way to have him reconsider his mindset id through gentle persuasion.. trying to bully or scare him into submission is the perfect way to make him do the exact opposite of what you would want him to do. Loyal – He never lets down friends or people he cares for. While he has a smile for everyone, becoming very close with him isn't the easiest thing of the world but once you are in his speciall inner circle you will always be able to rely for him. He actually finds true pleasure in helping those who mean something to him. Passionate – he has italian blood and there is a fire burning inside him. Be it during an argument or during a reunion between friends you can see how his heat turns on and his feelings resound in his voice. When heart and passion are involved, Giacomo gives always all he has to give... and he has a lot to give!

A Little Deeper

Giacomo is the older son of the Torrinpietra family and the one whose magical powers actually manifested first. Despite being apparently the 'most magical' of his family, he never strayed much away from the muggle world and style of life. In particular, he fell in love with fast muggle motorbikes and cars when he was only 13 and it took a LOT of effort from his father and uncle to keep an eye on him so to avoid attempts at driving before legal age... or before even knowing how to drive, since we are at it. He and his brother Federico were used to form a sort of 'team' (the pilot and the mechanic) and there has been always much understanding and closeness between the two brothers. Giacomo and Federico have always each other's back if needed. Giacomo is a daredevil and a smartass but also a definitely caring person and often has been a great support for his family. He has started his studies at Beubaxtons while his family moved around, trying to find a place where to start a new life after the mess with Giacomo's mother. Now finally this year he has joined them in London. He likes the place and likes Hogwarts but Italy is still and always will be embedded in his heart.
