Evie Ann Anderson (b. 1985) is is an Investigator of the Burden City Police Department's attempts to catch the Crime Lord and works as an Investigator. She is not a born resident of Burden City, but instead willingly transferred there as a challenge of sorts when she learned of the high crime rates.
Biography
Evie was apparently raised by only one of her parents, her mother, with her father absent from her life. It was her mother, a strong and intelligent woman, who kept Evie on the straight and narrow path. Making sure her daughter didn't fall into the wrong crowds, become addicted to illegal substances or fell for some bad boy loser. An impressive feat, considering that they both lived in a rough part of town. Her mother pushed her and encouraged her throughout high school, no matter how hard it was, and thus helped Evie have higher standards for herself and knowing she had a better future than this.
She managed to get to college and excelled in all her classes, but had no direction or idea on what to do with her life. Though obviously destined for something great, Evie had no clue what is specifically was and looked for it during her college years. Her mother tragically died before she got to see her daughter find the one thing that was her passion, due to being a victim of a hit-and-run by an unknown driver one early morning. It was her mother's death that made her gain in interest in law enforcement, hoping to prevent a senseless death of a good person. After graduating from college with a degree in psychology, she went to the police academy and excelled due to her inner drive.
Graduating from the academy, she went on to be part of the police department and quickly rose ranks with her wit and determination. Setting herself with a challenge, she willingly transferred to Burden City when she learned of the crimes being committed there. She is now there, hoping to make a name for herself and help others avoid senseless tragedies like she had to endure.
Physical Appearance
Evie is a pretty woman, with almost ethereal features that she most likely inherited from her beloved mother. She has shoulder length, blond hair with the classic bright blue eyes. She has pale skin, with a Tiger Lilly tattoo on her shoulder. She is rather small, only 5 feet and 4 inches that matches her thin and petite figure that hides the muscles she has required during her years at the academy.
Personality
Evie is mostly known for her confidence in herself, her determination to succeed - that often borders on stubbornness - and her drive to do her best, no matter what is thrown at her. When she focuses on something, she goes for it and won't give up until she gets what she wants. Though she can be competitive and can be a sore loser when she loses in something even minor, she is a friendly person and knows when not to argue about the judgment of someone if it makes sense or helps her in a way.
She lets others at work see her as a stiff and serious person, not wanting them to take advantage of her or think she's weak or emotional. With people that she can trust, she is a fun loving and cheerful woman, an outgoing person with a sunny personality. She can get along with others, though she does have the jealousy issues every once and a while when someone she likes likes someone more than her. This could be from the loss of her mother and not wanting to lose another person she cared for dearly, since she might not want to go through that experience again.
Evie knows how to take care of herself and others thanks to her street smarts and her book smarts, developed from her tough and hard childhood and her years of intensive studying respectively. She has a big heart, wanting to help others if they need it and not wanting others to experience the pain and loss like she had when she was younger.
