Appearance

Eric walks, talks, and dresses the part of a successful Wall Street executive. He wears designer suits, ties, and well shined shoes. His hair is usually as perfect as the weather allows. Eric walks with a confident stride, like he owns the street upon which he walks. He keeps a light stubble beard, always well trimmed. Physically, Eric is very fit. He works on his physique for hours a day. He is not bulky, or muscular. He is lithe, and slim, and cut. His Five-Ten frame houses a hundred and eighty five pounds of muscle and only five percent body fat.

Personality

"One day, I'm gonna own this city." Eric always finds himself saying. He keeps the look, and the walk, and talk, because that's what he wants. He wants to live the big life, money, women, power. All of it. Eric isn't a bad guy, or an egoist though. In speaking to him at length, most find him charming, and friendly. Eric is that guy that opens doors for people, pulls out the chair for a lady to sit, and allows the guy in the other car to take the spot. Not because he is meek, or shy, or weak, but because he feels strong, and confident, and giving. The people he is chivalrous to, he believes, deserve the good treatment. Eric has truly few friends though. As a result, he sometimes becomes awkward in groups.

History

Unlike how he acts, Eric has just had nothing but bad luck. His parents were killed when he was five. He was placed in foster care. The first family was adopting as many as they could get away with to be professional parents. They weren't really bad parents, there was just too many children, and they weren't using their pay for the children as much as they should have. So his foster dad got a new Corvette the week he was adopted, but he barely had a few clothes for school, and only two small meals a day. This is actually what gave Eric his powers of persuasion, and skills in negotiation. He would trade for, or otherwise convince others to help him get more food for himself and his adopted brothers and sisters. At ten, he and one of his adopted sisters got caught experimenting. The family was stripped of their ability to adopt, and Eric was too old for anyone to want to adopt, he was placed in a shelter of sorts where eventually he ran away, seeing the streets as a little easier to find his way.

By the age of fourteen Eric had a few odd jobs, here and there. He'd learned how to defend himself decently as well. Cleaning a Martial Arts school for lessons for four years. This taught him the discipline that a runaway would surely need to become anything other than a criminal. Eric always stayed on the legal side of things, or at least mostly. It was "bad for business" to get caught up too much in crime. After all, how can you make a decent wage from prison? At one point he saved an elderly woman from a man trying to hustle her after the man had caused a minor fender bender accident. Eric talked the woman through all the proper things to do, which included not just paying the guy to forget the accident happened. It was at this time that he developed one less than legal skill. He found with the proper equipment, he could forge darn near anything. From ID's to art from theft. He would occasionally do this on the side for income when he was really in need. This is also where he decided he needed to look the part. He worked hard, made a few fake ID's and a few passports, and used that money to buy a suit. Cost him all the money he made, nearly a grand, but he had a suit. Eric kept this article of clothing always very well maintained, and safe. It was his "Ticket out of here."

Eric continued into his adult life doing odd jobs, and living in shabby apartments, the street, or hotels. Whatever was available. When he works, he works hard, and never complains. This has so far lead to co-workers hating him because he over-shadows them. Ultimately, leading to people setting him up to be fired or worse. At his last job. At the docks in Los Angeles, after a long day, his co-workers followed him to his hotel, and beat him nearly to death. He was threatened that he'd die if he showed up to work again. He never went. Today we find him jogging along the waters at the beach. part of his morning ritual. Stopping at one of the work out parks, and dedicating the next hour to that. The people there are the only people in the world that like him. They admire his dedication, and hard work. Likely after this, he will go mop the floor of a nearby deli for his protein in the form a sandwich. Then he will go clean, and ready all 50 rooms of the hotel he stays at to pay his rent. From there, he goes to a high school stadium and maintains the yard for his lunches. Some time looking for a job, or a school that will take him, then he's at a food distribution company stacking crates for his dinner. Eric has one main problem that keeps him on the street. He has no real birth certificate, it was lost in the system somehow. All his created ones usually get found out within a year of being made. He could make a permanent one, or at least a better one, but he is working without the proper equipment. So he is constantly getting told he can't be officially hired.
