Worst Memory(ies): When he was 11 his uncle had decided he needed to learn a lesson in respecting the Purebloods of the world. He had not realized how important blood status was to people until that moment in his life when he had talked back to his uncle and ended up on the receiving end of his wand. To this day he will not forget how he had cast Petrificus Totalus on him and stood over him with his sword cane, unsheathing it and marking him in such a way that he would never forget just who was more important in the chain of existence.
Best Memory(ies): Seeing the dragons of Bulgaria when he went on a trip with his grandfather at the age of twelve. From then on he had a fondness for the magnificent creatures. Kissing Faylinn Cassidy in the dress shop in Diagon Alley.

Personality:
Ric is a very flirtatious and confident guy. He has a natural charm and ability to talk himself out of nearly any tough situation. He can come across as cocky and arrogant at times but once someone spends enough time with him they can see its just his self confidence, and he doesn't really think himself better than anyone else. He is always one of the guys, rough housing, goofing off, and playing hard. He doesn't get serious about nearly anything except when he has to buckle down and study. Even playing quidditch isn't that serious to him but he still loves the game, even if he's always warmed the bench as a second string when he did make the team.
Physical Description:
Ric is a devilishly handsome bloke and he well knows it. He loves his hair to a point that it takes him nearly as long as the average female to get his done right in the mornings. He tends to dress in fashionable attire, usually nice jeans and sweaters (in fall and winter) or button up shirts (short-sleeved in spring). And khaki shorts with polo shirts in summer months.
Other distinguishing features:
Ric has a distinctively shaped three inch scar in the form of backwards "P" (so that when he turned to look in the mirror he could see it plainly and it wasn't so obvious to others) across his lower back near his left hip. Its hard to determine its origin or how he got it.
History:
Enrique Salsador was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina into a large family of five. His father was a halfblood who worked for the Ministry of Magic as an Obliviator. His mother was a Pureblood who stayed at home looking after their children. Ric has three brothers and two sisters, all older than he is. It was a fairly easy life in Argentina and his oldest brother went off to a wizarding school there in South America. The year that Ric turned five they moved from Argentina to Spain where his mother opened up a small apothecary shop in their home and sold draughts and salves to the muggles and wizards alike. The items were mostly viewed as "homeopathic" and made from herbs and the like. Having moved to Spain gave Ric a better chance at learning about more than just the dragons his Grandfather had trained in South America.
Each of his older siblings slowly left home one by one and his mother had another child, a younger sister to Ric, Isabella. She was always with him as they grew older. Five years past and Isabella was four by then, they ended up moving to London, to be closer to the Ministry and so that his mother could begin working in the wizarding world more often. She joined the Ministry not long after their move working in the Intoxicating Substance Department. Isabella and Ric were watched after their aunt and uncle during the days and evenings their parents worked. Being in London now, they were closer to his mothers side of the family. His aunt had accepted the children but his uncle didn't care much for the half bloods. It was then that he decided to make sure Ric knew who was more important in the world and subsequently Ric's stubborn and outspoken behavior shone through earning him the scar on his lower back. Thankfully he didn't have to stay in his uncles presence for too long as he had started school at the ministry and only had to be with them a couple hours in the evenings.
Ric was a third year in JWA at that point and had started making friends and spending more time in after school activities. Ric had been learning swordplay and fencing from his father in late evenings and on days he didn't work and since moving to London they had even more time together. The summer he turned twelve, Ric went to visit his Grandfather Esteban, who took him to Bulgaria to see the Dragons there. That summer his love of dragons tripled and he found a new admiration for his grandfather and what he did. Ever since that summer he asked to go every summer to stay with him and each fall he would return with a new story about a new dragon he had seen.
That was until he turned fifteen. Then he started talking more about girls. Ric found he had an affinity for talking to girls and for some reason girls loved his accent and his Hispanic features. He played it all up and before he had stepped into Hogwarts, he had already snogged at least a dozen girls and done a bit more with one other during the summer before. Ric was hooked by that point. His affection he had felt for the dragons moved into a new love of women, not that he ever stopped liking the dragons, he just felt his attentions going elsewhere during his free time. Now that he's a fifth year, his mother keeps trying to tell him to look for love and not just lust. She thinks like most mothers he should be married after Hogwarts and starting a family soon after that. Ric however had no intentions on marriage anytime in his near future. However his baby sister will be starting Hogwarts and that, had him worried. He adored Isabella and would not see her hurt by anyone, especially with the Pureblood madness that was in the world.
Over the summer before his sixth year, he became more involved with a particular lady, Faylinn Cassidy. Fay had always been a huge crush of his and the one girl he would wait for. Through the last three years he had to wait for her to be ready for him, he did continue to flirt and have fun, snogging now and then but nothing serious or anything too lasting. Since the party at Iggy's and the following meeting at the dress shop, things between the two have become heated and passionate. He has a strong desire to keep her for his own and would do anything for the redhead Cassidy girl. She has left for Australia however, and as heartbroken as he should be, he won't give up on her. Staying at Hogwarts, Ric has vowed to keep owling with her and visiting on breaks. His mother just may get what she wanted after all if things keep going the way they are in his budding romance with Fay. Meanwhile at Hogwarts, he is still as close with his best friend Nik, and cotinues to hang out with the "Gryffindor Pryde". He'll never play quidditch like they do, but he still fits in just as well, working out with them, playing Rugby and such with them, and going for drinks. Nik is happy for Ric and Fay and being the romantic he is, hopes to see marriage in their future. Ric won't say either way where that is going but anyone who knew him or knows him can see he is more than smitten and would do anything for the girl.
