Edward Richards (b. 1990) is an Investigator of the Burden City Police Department's attempts to catch the Crime Lord and works as cop that is showing signs of corruption. He is not a born resident of Burden City but was instead transferred to the police department there after several incidents that he could have done but were proven.

Biography

Eddie was born to two people from apparently different backgrounds, as his strong willed mother defied her parents when she was marrying his 'bum' of a father. His father, who ran a dojo and had a multitude of jobs in order to support his family, had expectations he wanted met when concerning his son and Eddie tried his bet to to meet with them. He had a normal life, with two parents that attempted to take care of him the best of their abilities and show him good morals.

That was until at the age of thirteen, when he and his mother were somehow cornered by a man. His mother hid him just in time for the man to catch her, rape her into submission and then killed her by slitting her throat. Eddie witnessed these events, thus starting him on his path of misogynistic and corrupted tendencies. It is unknown if the man was ever caught after this, but its' presumed that his father continued to raise him after this until Eddie went to the police academy thanks to his father's connections. He graduated and became an investigator, but soon after there were claims of corruption and abuse of power by man. When nothing could be proven, the police department simply transferred him to BCPD to get him out of their hair.

He is now in Burden City and doesn't mind it, liking the fact there seems to be a multitude of 'strong women' here as he reconsidered on simply just abusing his power and not doing anything more fun.

Physical Appearance

Eddie is a reasonably attractive and young man. He has brown hair, cut down into a buzz cut and has a case of Heterochromia that leaves his his left eye the color blue while his right eye is the color red. He has pale white skin, with a tattoo of a giant serpent shaped into the symbol of infinity (∞). Though he is only 5 feet and 11 eleven inches, he is incredibly stocky and muscular for his height which maybe led to believe that he is taking steroids or any other enhancements drugs.

Personality

Eddie was originally a normal, everyday boy. A boy-next-door type that respected others and had a sense of good morals. But after seeing the brutal demise of his mother, his personality and mind was warped to a monstrous extent. Today, he is basically a misogynistic and cruel man, but he can hide it under an amiable demeanor of a mild-mannered person who is eager to please. While he seems helpful and kind, he is most likely debasing and insulting you in his mind but just keeping a smile on his face. He is crude and rude, viewing all women simply inferior to him and is eager to break the 'strong women' to show that they are weaker than him. He is an opportunity seeker, always looking for new ways to gain pleasure or control over others. Even at the expense of other people.

In his own description, he is a 'monster-in-training' due to his lack of remorse for his actions even if it harms others. He is eager to cement his status as an 'Alpha Male' over others, believing himself to be better than most people through dominating and controlling them. He is a classic narcissist, someone who thinks highly of themselves and will react bitterly to those who attempt to show them otherwise. He can be vindicated and harsh when angered, and will not hesitate to humiliate and debase those who he feels like didn't respect him enough.

Most of all, Eddie is intelligent and a skilled actor. He can switch his demeanor from one to another at the drop of the hat if the situation calls for it. He is a 'human chameleon' of sorts. He knows this and uses it when needed, especially if he is attempting something that he shouldn't be doing.
