This page is about the Storm and Queen Tavern for the Delvers Company.

There's no finer bar in all the land than The Storm and Queen Tavern. That's not quite true. There are a fair number of bars finer, better appointed, and safer than The Storm and Queen Tavern, but for now it is home. The Delvers Company some months ago put down a sack of coin and requested sole ownership of the private mess room in the back and the two adjoining rooms that had previously been intended for smaller parties. These have been converted into the Delvers Company Guildhall, a place to rest their heads between adventures and store trinkets of value.

The common room of The Storm and Queen is a mid-sized bar with eight round tables at which to sit, gamble, and carouse. The general patrons of The Storm are workers in the community and a smattering of travelers. Among the patrons, there may occasionally be someone who has heard of the exploits of the Delvers. The Storm is a family business controlled by Burnus Alfzer, an older human who frequently runs the bar. His daughter, Ayca, plays a lute, though not nearly as well as Lorelei and never on nights that she is playing. Additionally, there is a barstaff of four hired hands, two men and two women. The Storm and Queen Tavern sells local red ale, home made honeymead, and a red wine of questionable origins as well as venison pie and a variety of seafood from the nearby port.

The Storm and Queen is located in the city of Heaford in the country of Brondolor.

The Hall

The current home of Delvers Company is in the back of the The Storm and Queen. Best described as small and functional, the Delvers have a single mess room and two bunk rooms. The mess room has a wooden floor and a worn wooden table that looks to have once been in the tavern proper. Six rickety backless stools sit around the table, one of which wobbles terribly. Carved in the center of the table is the mark of Delvers Company, ________. On one wall above a small fireplace is a faded and wine-spattered painting of the old Delver himself, long gone from these lands but still memorialized.

Each of the bunk rooms has 6 bunk beds with lumpy mattresses fit for a peasant. A small chest is set at the foot of each mattress for the personal effects of those who stay in the room.

Score Boards

On the wall of the east bunk room, Ayca has put up a board with names and what appear to be scores. The current standings are as follows:
