Appearance
Dax is a taller woman with a slim build. She has a very toned body with a few tattoos and her skin is soft to the touch. Her eyes are an icy blue color and she has very sharp facial features. Dax dresses mostly in button up shirts and jeans but is definitely no stranger to wearing a suit and tie. She rarely wears clothing that is overly feminine and would never be caught in a dress. Dax has both ears pierced and a tongue piercing and her hair is usually messy or hidden under a hat.
Personality
Dax has a dark demeanor but once someone gets to know her she is one of the most calm laid back people around. She likes music and loves a good party. She is a gamer and has been since she first got her hands on a controller. Dax is very flirty and is not one to ever get into a serious relationship. She is a heartbreaker and never lets herself get too close to anyone other then those she considers friends and once Dax is a friend there is no chance of being anything more then that to the old vampire.

History
Dax was bitten at a young age during a party hosted by her father. People from all over the area showed up, it was an open house so to speak and Dax's father being the kind trusting man he was did not deny anyone entrance into his home. The man welcomed everyone in with open arms and a smile on his face. Little did Dax's father know, he had not only allowed one but a group of vampires into his large home. Of course the group was simply there to enjoy themselves like everyone else, all but one who was still young and didn't know how to control his thirst for blood once around so many mortals.
While Dax was in her room she heard a commotion coming from the parlor where most of the guests were gathered. People were screaming and running from the house in a panic. When Dax went to see what caused the commotion she noticed one of the guests latched onto her father's neck, feeding off of him. The young man that was feeding off of her father drained the old man, killing him. Once the young man let Dax's father's body drop to the floor an older looking woman drove a stake through the young man's chest, killing him instantly. Dax tried to move back into her room to hide until everyone left but by the time she turned to walk throught the door to her bedroom, the woman who had just killed the young man who was had drained Dax's father was standing in the doorway.
Scared and unsure of what to do, Dax attempted to fight the woman but was quickly restrained and brought to a sitting position with the woman's arms wrapped tightly around her. In that moment Dax thought her life was over, she thought the woman was going to kill her as well. That was until she whispered into Dax's ear softly, "Shh....hush child don't try to fight, I'm not going to hurt you all I want is for you to be mine". After the woman spoke Dax's body went still but she wasn't released. The woman who had a hold on her began to explain things to Dax, told her that the young man who had just drained Dax's father was the woman's brother and that he had just recently been turned. The woman also told Dax that she would protect her.
For a few years after Dax's father died, the mysterious woman took care of her. In turn Dax let her feed when she needed to, the woman's name was Alexis Draven and she was a vampire. Something Dax had known since the night they first met. It was scary at first, especially after witnessing her father die at the hands of another vampire and at first Dax felt as if Alexis were keeping her prisoner so that she wouldn't expose her but after spending more and more time wirh Alexis, Dax realized that the woman was simply lonely before the two had met. Dax was always free to come and go as she pleased and despite the urge to run from the woman Dax always came back. The two took care of each other, Alexis kept Dax clean, fed, and always well dressed, while Dax provided Alexis with blood when she needed it.
Eventually Dax had grown to fall in love with the Alexis and the old vampire had fallen for the young woman as well. As soon as Dax was an adult she went to Alexis and confessed her love for the old vampire and told Alexis that she wanted to be with her forever. Dax knew what forever meant to a vampire, she had learned a lot about them while Alexis took care of her and Dax knew that forever meant she would have to be turned and that was something Dax was willing to do for her one true love. The night after Dax confessed her love to Alexis, they spend the next few days making love to each other passionately, something both women had wanted to do for a long time before Dax made her confession. After the passionate nights were came to an end, Alexis asked Dax if the young woman was sure that she wanted to indeed be with her forever. Dax's decision hadn't changed and the nights the two spent wrapped in each other's arms only made Dax's decision easier.
After Alexis turned Dax, the two spent the next few years in Dax's father's home. Alexis helped to train Dax, helped the young vampire learn to control her thirst for blood, even lured mortals into their home so that Dax could feed when cattle blood wouldn't satisfy Dax's thirst. Alexis did her best to not only teach Dax when to release the mortals once she had her fill but Alexis also used her dark gift of memory manipulation to make the mortals forget they were ever there, the mortals that survived that is. Dax was still young and didn't mean to kill when feeding but Alexis couldn't always prevent Dax from draining the mortals bodies. By the time Dax learned to control her thirst, people in the area had caught on to the things that were happening in the home. Mainly people who paid attention to vampires specifically, slayers who tried to clear the area of the creatures.
The two had to run, move on to another place with new people and new surroundings. With Dax now able to control her thirst it was much easier to live and stay in one place for a while. They made a home for themselves in a small house by a lake that was secluded and simply perfect. Dax and Alexis were inseperable, they were happy with their new life and adapted quite quickly to it. Unfortunately, they couldn't stay in one place for too long due to the fact that they didn't age and eventually had to leave the home they had made for themselves yet again. For the next century the two moved from place to place, never staying in one area for more then ten years.
One night while Dax and Alexis were travelling to their next place to call home, they were attacked by a group of five men. Alexis was killed while trying to protect Dax, a stake was driven through the woman's heart after she killed off two of the men. It happened right in front of Dax, the young vampire witnessed the only woman she would ever love die right before her eyes. The sight alone sent Dax into a rage, the young vampire lunged at the man who killed Alexis and ripped his throat out but refused to feed from him or the other two that met the same fate. After burying Alexis, Dax had no choice but to seek shelter. Despite the urge to end her own life Dax knew Alexis would want her to go on and that's exacrtly what Dax did.
Dax found shelter in an old rundown inn, the place was still up and running but due to it's rugged outward appearance, not many people checked in. The vampire spent a few nights in the place before moving on again. For years Dax spent her life alone. Wandering from place to place, uninterested in making friends or developing any kind of relationship with anyone. She had adopted the last name Draven in honor of her first and one true love and eventually made it her legal name, forgetting about her life before Alexis came into it. For centuries Alexis was Dax's life, her strength, and her heart. The old vampire had meant the world to Dax and after losing her Dax went into a very dark place until the day she moved to a place in Montreal and began to let people in again. Instead of sustaining her thirst for blood with animals, Dax began to lure women in by seducing them, a talent that had come quite naturally to her, and feeding off of them. Some enjoyed it, others not so much. Dax had plenty of chances to start a romantic relationship with plenty of different women but she could never get past a simple one night stand.
Although Montreal had become quite a comfortable and rather safe place to live for Dax, the vampire again moved on. She just simply couldn't call the place home, Dax couldn't really call any place home since she lost Alexis. Dax traveled to various places and broke plenty of hearts along the way, not caring about the effects she had on people. The vampire had become a player and a master at her game. To this day she continues to live this way and doesn't see herself ever changing, no one can replace Alexis Draven in Dax's eyes and no one will ever be able to win the old vampire over no matter what they do. However, Dax has proven over the last few years that she can indeed be a loyal and caring friend, she just can't be loyal when it comes to romantic relationships because to this day she is still very much in love with Alexis, despite the fact that the woman had died hundreds of years ago.
