Appearance
Brian has the looks and aura of someone who can be intimidating, but doesn't have to act it to get it across. In fact, his personality tends to go the other direction so as to soften that appearance. He's very physically fit--his body is simply rippling with muscles. His hair is shoulder-length and usually just pushed back with a hand. He's got the sort of green eyes that are more apparent in either direct light or near-darkness--otherwise, they tend to look more hazel or light brown.
Personality
Brian is a watcher, then a doer. He is intelligent, though his field of expertise is not intellectual--he spends his off-time in intelligent pursuits like reading books on science and history, and working on electronics like his computer--he's always trying to improve his rig for better performance.
He has almost glacial-like patience. It is a rare person, indeed, who sees him get angry, or even lose his cool. It's part of his were heritage; nothing much riles him, as he's naturally calm and self-assured. Likewise, while he does enjoy humor, he's usually very serious. He's been through solemn times in his life as well as silly and found that, for him, the respectful attitude is the best one to hold one's self to.
Brian is rather good at communicating with the opposite sex, but it also makes him very picky when it comes to female companionship. He knows what he likes, and tends to ignore women who don't fit his desires. Those that do, however, he can become quite focused on.

History
Brian was born in Oregon, near Crater Lake, around 1970, to two werebear parents. His parents were and still are the owners of a lodge and resort on the park property. Brian was, like many shifters, raised and schooled at home by his family. He has three older sisters and two younger ones, and all of them are in relationships, so he was exposed to the varying qualities of the female personality all throughout his formative years. This has affected his expectations of women in general.
Once he was old enough to move out, he immediately joined the army, and served as a tanker during Desert Storm, actually getting into some of what little combat there was outside of the airpower crushing the Iraqis. After ten years of service, he moved on to operating heavy machinery like cranes, backhoes, dump trucks, and other such vehicles. It was through a mutual friend of his family's that he heard about Nuiqsut, and decided to check it out.
