Bruce Kaiburyn - Arrested for 'intent on releasing an extremely dangerous magical beast aka dragon on the muggle population.
The Kaiburyn Family dates back to Arthurian times, sword smiths and squires to the great king himself, who aided in fashioning exquisite blades. Some it is said were gifted alchemists while others maintained that the family were metal charmers, whatever the case may be legend or truth, the sword Excalibur is heralded in the magic community as being the creation of Gregory of Calibur.
As dark times enmeshed England, brother was torn from brother as sides were taken in a conflict that brought muggle and wizarding community together to fight side by side against those that were purely wizarding with evil intent. It was one of the first intense collaborations between the two worlds - Merlin fought his sister Morgian while Gregory was pitted against his own brother Ambrose.
Ambrose left the shores of England to build a new existence believing in his heart in the purity of blood and the necessity of keeping the wizarding population away from non-wizards. Gregory however stayed and raised a family. Two sons had he - Edward and James. Edward wanting to strike out to make his own fortune went to Scotland with the blessing of his father, King and Merlin.
He became a knight, preferring to wield a sword rather than forge one; he went on to earn lands for his heroic deeds throughout his lifetime. His name changing to Edward Caibur. With time again however, the name Caibur was soon to change as well and as Edward made his home in Kiburryn on the shores of Loch Ryan, the clan lord at the time amended the family name to suit and so the family were hence known as Kaiburyn.
The first descendent noted in the annals of history with this name was Bruce Kaiburyn in 1298. As the famous muggle battle of Falkirk was being waged, many a friend was fighting and he meant to assist them. His plan to release a dragon upon the English army was thwarted however and he was arrested, though later released. It was a cruel blow however as he was released on word that the English had made an outstanding victory that day while many of his country men were killed. From that day Bruce sworn to have no more to do with those in authority, convinced that the battle would have been won if he had been allowed to unleash the dragon.
Centuries later and the Kaiburyn's having spread out and lain roots throughout the British Isles met and indeed married into those known as Caliburn. It so happened that the descendents of James of Calibur had with time made the slightest of edits to their place name of origin, becoming known hence forth as the pureblood wizarding family of Caliburn, much like their Italian counterparts, the descendents of Ambrose.
Though for the most part the Kaiburyn's married other purebloods, it was not a pre-requisite and so came to pass that Hestor Flint and Herodius Kaiburyn had to them a son called Cain and from Cain the pureblood lineage was to dilute, for he fell in love with a half blood witch Carmel Fletcher and they in turn produced Anath. Anath now the first in many years of the Kaiburn pureblood clan to be a half blood diluted the once pure line further by marrying a muggleborn witch Sarah Monroe and to them ...
