Hawthorn School
Hащтнѳяпё $cнѳѳг
For many years, the shelter was the Hawthorne School for Exceptional Young Men, where young warlocks were taught to control their magic. When the witches went public, the believed they would finally find their Alpha that would help them equal the power of their sister counterparts. However, the warlocks were met with reluctance among society and retreated back into their school.
Previous Grand Chancellor, Ariel Augustus, became bitter at the success of the witches and began a series of special classes designed to push the young warlocks in an attempt to force them into the status of Alpha. The failures resulted in the boys deaths. Warlock Council member, John Henry Moore, could not ignore the situation and with Cordelia at his side, they claimed back the Warlock academy. Ariel was punished for his crimes with burning at the stake and John was offered position of Grand Chancellor. He accepted and took over control of the Hawthorne School.
With Cordelia's passing and Mallory's ascension, the young Supreme came to him with an offer. While he was not the 'Alpha', she treated him equally in a way previous Supreme's had not treated the warlocks. Whatever her reasoning for this, she made a proposal. Bring his small group of remaining warlocks to Miss Robichaux's, come join her in the school with them, and they would raise the new generation together. Stop the divide between the two and allow a safe place for new warlocks to flourish.
He accepted, but with the condition that Hawthorne remain open and to allow witches and warlocks a place to go for more intense training once they reached that level. Mallory agreed.
Manchac Swap

Manchac Swamp. Legend says a voodoo priestess, Julie White, lived in the swamp and predicted that her death would take the lives of many others too. Eerily enough, in 1915 on the day of her funeral, a hurricane hit and killed many of the people in the area. Some people have reported hearing a woman’s screams or a voice singing the song White was heard singing the day of her death, “One day I’m gunna die, and I’m gunna take all of you with me.”
Miss Robichaux Academy

The Academy was built in 1790 as a private school for privileged girls but was turned into a military hospital during the Civil War. In 1868, Marianne Wharton, the reigning Supreme at that time, the most powerful witch of the generation and a prominent socialite back then, reclaimed the building and reinstated it as a school as a cover-up, but in reality turned it into a safe haven for young witches to learn and hone their powers.
Due to many women of the bloodline choosing not to reproduce, the population dwindled from at most 60 in the academy, to the presence of just four girls. In 2014, Supreme witch Cordelia Goode went public about witches, and the number of students at the academy increased to a large number once more.
New Supreme Mallory Ward seeks to once again bolster the population of the Academy with the allowance of Warlocks.
