Personality

Amber is fun loving but can be very shy, especially around new people. She's willing to be friends with just about anyone, but she refuses to associate with anyone with a nasty disposition. To her, being mean is horrible and she constantly worries that she may have inadvertantly been rude to someone herself. She suffers from slightly low self image and is very sensitive about her height. Around her friends, she is pure sweetness and smiles. It really bothers her when someone doesn't like her. All she really wants is to please those around her.

A Little Deeper

Amber's mother was a witch who fell in love with a Muggle man. She was born to a failry normal Muggle lifestyle, though of course there was magic around her from time to time. There had been an understanding that if any of their children were to develop magical aptitude, they would be sent to JWA and hopefully later to Hogwarts. When Amber came of sufficient age, she was revealed to be a witch herself, which came as something of a double edges sword to her. On the one hand, she thought magic was pretty cool, but on the other hand, it frightened her. She wasn't sure she wanted to be a witch, but her mother explained to her that it was what she was. Her older sister had turned out to be a squib, but her older brother was a wizard himself and was already in Hogwarts in his 2nd year. So with a wary heart and butterflies in her stomach, Amber went on to attend JWA. This is now her final year before graduating and she's nervous anew. Just when she had been getting used to JWA, Hogwarts loomed on the horizon, and as another unknown, it scared her. She's made friends in her time at the school, and only hopes that she hasn't made any enemies. She has done decently in her studies thus far, but she is certainly no Hermoine Granger.
