Appearance
In his natural form he his tall and thin. His skin would pass for human but he has designs on his face that he was born with. His ears are decidedly pointed and almost never covered by his rather unruly hair. In his human/glamoured form he is a lean man that many would consider handsome. He can usually be found wearing a suit with a bow tie.

Personality
Typical of most of those of the unseelie court Alistair is essentially selfish. He can be compassionate and caring but rarely at his own expense. He is charming and fun loving with a love for being the center of attention. As such he is out going as he tries to be the center of attention at any type of social gathering, parties, bars or clubs. As such he can be a social butterfly and consummate flirt, but he does not get close to others easily and is never with a woman longer than a few weeks. He keeps it well hidden but beneath his charm and smiles when in a crowd there is a sadness and sense of loneliness about him only those close to him though would ever see and those are few and far between.

History
Born in 1911 Alistair was raised primarily by his mother Veronica Blackwood, a sidhe of the unseelie court, in a small hamlet in Ireland, the Emerald Isle. His father, Franklin Asher also a sidhe, never married his mother. They both had their own lives and interests so frequently spent many years apart. They would live together from time to time but only for a few years at best. Franklin had only lived with them for about a year during Alistair's childhood.
As is usually done by the sidhe Alistair went to human school starting at the same age of the human children. Always being intelligent and inquisitive he had learned to read and write before starting school. His mother had made sure that he could work and keep up his glamour before enrolling him. After all he had to appear to be just another normal human child. It took him longer to learn to hide his ability to understand languages that he should not know. He hid his greater than normal physical abilities by pretending to not be interested in sports. He could not however completely hide his natural abilities when he had to participate in gym class.
As he grew into a teen he learned how much he liked to be the center of attention. He took part in the plays and such that students put on. He became popular among the other students. At parties and other gatherings he would tell jokes and dance to keep attention on him. He thought that he would go into show business after graduation and even took a few years to give it a try. He had some moderate success, but learned that it was not where his true passion laid. He liked casual popularity but did not want to be a celebrity.
So after two years he gave up showbiz and went off to University. For the first semester he had not chosen a major but took general classes that would be needed for whatever degree he might go for. He also greatly enjoyed party scene that comes when young adults are gathered together in large numbers. During this time he met another Fae, a beautiful fiery haired luck fae. Though he could see through her glamour to see her true form he also saw how she appeared to the humans and was no less attracted to her. He found that not only was he highly attracted to her beauty but also greatly enjoyed her company. She was also a freshman and two years younger than him. For the first time in his life he wanted more than just a quick fling.
Despite the fact that he was Unseelie and she was Seelie he pursued her and finally convinced her to date him. After that quite unlike he had ever done before he remained faithful only to her throughout their college years. In their sophomore year they moved into together. Their relationship though caused issues with her family and his. Neither family thought that it would ever work and two members of the different courts should never get together and that it would never work. He professed his love for her and despite their families' objections they stayed together and he was happier than he had thought possible.
They had chosen different courses of study. He had chosen business and finance while she chose something else. After graduation his first job pulled him one way and hers took another. So they both gave in to their families' demands and their chosen career paths and went their separate ways. Over the years he tried for other relationships but nothing lasted more than a few months at best. He just could not find that happiness had found in college with her. For nearly 80 years women came and went from his life and all had one problem that he could get past, they were not the fiery haired Luck Fae that had stolen his heart.
Over the years he worked several different companies from small business to major corporations. His education and later experience kept him in a position of management or that of an executive. He recently took a position as the VP of marketing for a growing technology corporation. The headquarters is in London so he of course moved there after having lived all over Europe and even in the States for some time.
