Appearance

At the present moment, Aislinn appears roughly 26 years old, with dark hair that seems to have hints of deep russet browns and raven's wing blacks that shine almost blue in the right light. Her eyes shift in color, ranging anywhere from bright cerulean blue to startling clover green, and almost always have hints of either color no matter what their primary appearance seems to be. Milky white skin offsets it all, giving her an otherworldly, ethereal look that has managed to ensnare the attention (and affections) of more than one man. She stands at roughly 5'4", and is blessed with a figure with just the right amount of curve to fit a grown man's hand without going overboard. She is always dressed in clothes meant to show off her figure, and though her style tends to shift, she is currently quite happy to dress in high-end clothing that bespeaks wealth and class. All that said, given that she is sidhe, she has particularly strong glamour magics and can make herself appear almost any way she wishes, and often shifts her appearance to suit the mortal she is currently living off of.

Glamour: Being sidhe, Aislinn has strong glamour magics which allow her to appear with any looks she chooses. These are second nature to her, though they do require she have a fairly steady source of life to feed from (IE: the mortal artist she has attached herself to) Life Feeding: Mortal artists who have the blessing/misfortune to fall under the spell of a Leannan Sidhe become the source of her power, meaning she slowly drains them of life, using them to keep herself immortal. It is important to note that while few mortals have the fortitude to withstand the leannan sidhe's spell, those who manage to know her and fail to fall in love with her will win her as a slave. This has never happened to Aislinn, however. Inspiration: Like a muse, a Leannan Sidhe inspires great works in their mortal, driving them to create with wild abandon. Some of the best artists in the world have been the mortal lovers of Leannan Sidhe. The downfall to this inspiration and relationship is that the amount of inspiration often overwhelms the mortal, creating emotional highs and lows within them that will lead them to live short, beautiful, tragic lives. Many die in tragic accidents when the sidhe they are lovers to tires of them or their life force is too weak to go on, and even more eventually take their own lives, unable to bear the burden of their own genius. The only way to avoid these tragic ends is for the leannan sidhe to move on to another mortal, though this transfer often leaves them devoid of inspiration at all and many take their lives out of grief or die of a broken heart.
