Why don't you allow the other official Scion pantheons? (Tuatha, Yazata, etc.)
For several reasons, but primarily because I don't find them necessary. I think the original six pantheons provide plenty of options for players. There's already enough information for players to sort through, without me overwhelming them with extra pantheons.
Can I play an evil character like a serial killer, a Scion working for the Titans, etc?
No. While we are more than open to characters who are firmly in the "gray" space between good and evil, outright evil characters who are there for no other reason than to disrupt events or the flow of the plot will not be accepted. If you are unsure if your concept is "too evil" please send a PM to the Storytellers.
I want to create a Scion of a God/Goddess that can't have children! How can I make this happen?
Excellent question! If you wish to create a Scion of, say, Artemis or Athena, they can be adopted. The following passage is taken from the books:

Virgin Goddesses such as Artemis and Athena find the concept of mating with men disagreeable. Osiris cannot procreate Scions of his own. Set has difficulty doing so as well. Uniquely ugly Gods such as Miclántecuhtli have problems of their own. Yet, for these Gods—and for all Gods—adoption remains a viable alternative.

When a God adopts the Scion of another, he claims that child so completely that the child thereafter treats the adopting God’s associated powers and Favored Abilities as his own. The Gods can’t simply poach one another’s offspring, however, even when one divine parent is unaware of a child’s existence. In order for the adoption to be formal and binding, the child’s true parent must first formally disinherit him in the Overworld, utterly renouncing his filial connection and responsibility. After that, any God or Goddess who has a mind to can claim the child—the culmination of which claim is a Visitation and a bestowal of Birthrights. After the Visitation, it’s too late for any divine being—even the child’s true divine parent—to claim the child. It’s also too late for the adopting parent to renounce his claim. The child is now his in the eyes of Fate.

A God cannot adopt a mortal and make him a Scion in this way. Only a being whose body combines mortal flesh and divine ichor—regardless of whose divine ichor it is—can be adopted thus. Also, no Scion who has already received a Visitation can be adopted by another God, even if that God should later grow to despise his Scion and renounce him before all the Gods of the Overworld.

I'm feeling really overwhelmed by the character creation process! I really want to join, but there's just so much to read and I am confused by the points system! Can you help me?
Of course! This is a system-lite game, so it's not meant to be overwhelming or difficult. If you look things over and feel that you can't make sense of the process, please PM the Storytellers and we will do our best to help you. Please include a general idea of what you want your character to be good at and we will go from there.
My character was accepted and we've started IC play, but I have realized that I misunderstood what an ability/attribute/etc is supposed to do and how it works. Can I make changes even though I've already started play?
Of course! The only requirement here is that you contact the GMs about the changes you wish to make before you make them. If we feel you are taking advantage of this option, we may deny your request.
I just received some bonus points for stuff my character did IC, but I don't have enough to purchase what I want. Can I save them?
Yes! The only thing required at this point is that you keep track of your points, preferably at the bottom of your sheet where you track your expenditures. This is A: to make the GM's lives easier, and B: to keep everyone honest.
Where does Christianity/Islam/Judaism fit in to all of this?
This is an easy answer, but one some people might not like. If you're easily offended on religious grounds, keep in mind this is fiction. God in the sense that the Judeo-Christian religions refer to it, is a Titan named Akhetaten. He is the Titan of light and frankly, is not very nice. Angels? They're evil and will kill a Scion or anyone who helps them without thought. He is, in essence, something of the "ultimate big bad" in this setting because the sheer amount of belief he receives from his followers all over the world (who naturally aren't aware of the fact that they're worshipping a Titan) makes him extremely powerful. It is unlikely that this game will tackle him directly any time soon because characters will only be at Hero level to start and he's meant to be a God-level antagonist, but characters may have a run in with some of his titanspawn.
Can Scions have kids?
Yes. We are aware that canon to the table top setting, scions are infertile until they become Gods themselves, but given that this is a well known and liked kink for some people on E, we decided that was a rule that served no purpose to the game as a whole, so we lifted the restriction.
