I had someone drop out of this RP before it even stared. Take a look at my initial post, and if interested in playing, drop me a line. Looking for a female to play the role of the southern woman plantation owner.

He (a Union Officer) takes over the house, and as all good southern women, she does her best to be hospitable. Perhaps she lost her husband early in the war, and has cravings of her own. She is attracted to him, but fights the urge, because after all, he is the enemy, and good southern women don't give into their desires.

He is a gentleman, but wants her, badly. And slowly begins to seduce her - taking advantage of the authority he has over her house.

Late September 1864.

Looking back, Lt. Thomas Jackson could see the once great City of Atlanta burning behind him.  Having family in the South, Thomas struggled with what he had just done, but orders were orders. "Burn the city to the ground", he was told, and Thomas Jackson always followed orders.

Now, he was to lead his brigade to the city of Macon, where he was told to take up camp and suppress any resistance from what was left of the Confederate army. general Sherman was headed for Savannah, and he hoped to join back up with him over the next few weeks.

It had been a long few years for Thomas. He had fought at Bull Run and the battle of Antietam, and had seen more death and blood than he ever could have imagined. Losing so many men in those battles had hardened him, and other than a soft spot for his Southern kin, he despised the rebels, and knew that the only way to end the war was to crush them.

When the war broke out, Thomas was serving his final year at West Point, and had planned to marry his long time love and begin his law practice in Boston. Unfortunately things did not work out that way. He had not seen Rebecca in over three years, and was unsure if she would even be waiting when he returned. He truly loved her, but even at the time was unsure if he was ready for marriage. He enjoyed being single, and had the reputation of a playboy - often seen spending time with women of questionable character.

After arriving in Macon, Thomas began hearing rumors of a woman who may have been aiding the rebels at her plantation on the outskirts of town. It was custom to take up residence with the locals, so he decided to head out to her plantation. This way, he could keep an eye on her, and enjoy a bit of luxury that the plantation could hopefully still provide. if she gave him trouble, he would do as ordered and burn it to the ground.

Thomas order his men to break camp a few miles outside the city, and with a few aides, he set out. When he arrived, he was taken the the beauty of the house. "It's magnificent", he thought as he climbed from his horse. He was met by a house servant on the large steps of the plantation. "Tell your master that Lt. Thomas Jackson of the United States Army requests their presence", he said with a voice that was both quiet and demanding at the same time.
