I ended up playing them in both D&D games I'm currently in.

I could prolly cough up another if you guys are looking for another healer.

Speaking of which, post faster fool!

Hmm, now there's an interesting thought...

Suppose I wrote my posts in the first-person perspective, but the person whose perspective they were written from was Helli?  I think that's called a 'second-person narrative', or something like that, and it seems like something I'd enjoy trying...

You got me switching to 1st person. Hopefully I don't go nuts because I'm not using it for any of my other roleplays.

How late do the rest of you normally stay up? I'm usually asleep by now.

It's about 2:30 am est here, and aside from those rare times I have to work mornings, usually I'm up until 3 or 4 am est

My sleep schedule is completely messed up right now, so I'm not tired at all. ><; I'm going to have to take my leave very soon, though.

Any theories as to what the roleplay title is a reference to?

OH dear... that mindblast of theirs is such a nasty ability. I was part of a total pk once because a lone mindflayer dropped everyone but the cleric in the first round with that.

Eh, we've got plenty of people with good Will saves here, I think we'll be fine.

You should probably get some sleep then, Nicci. ^^;

I got terrible will save, thanks to cursed bunnysuit.

I don't think the title means anything about Illithids.

Good *breathes a sigh of relief* I'm pretty sure my will is lower than yours, so I'd be in just as much trouble with that. *curses that will is the weak save for the fighter/rogue*

Looks like we'll all be investing in Cloaks of Resistance in the future, then... :P

Well I'm going to bed now. Tomorrow I'm going to post some sort of end of the line, not turning back post. Normally players are indecisive and will want to change things after the game started, and I usually let them. Not this time, after I post the before mentioned post, there will be no changes. No swapping out feats, no oh, I wanted this magical item instead of that one, and no changing of your spells. I'm not even going to let you buy the mundane items you forget to get, so make sure you have everything you need. I'm giving you fair warning.

Actually, I'm working on one now, since I finally found inspiration for one, so you don't need to worry about it.

Ok, was just offering. I don't mind filling niches.

But yeah, I think if there's no niche in demand of getting filled, I don't think Ult is actively recruiting. If that changes, feel free to mention.

I shouldn't be picking anything new up myself. I'd like confirmation that my sheet as is is alright though, since I grabbed a flaw at third level in the current setup to mark a... slight distraction that arose after straying somewhat from the dedicated path of the Paladin, rather than just starting at 1st with the flaw.

Also, will we be limited to one prestige class period, or one prestige class at a time? I was thinking of grabbing some levels in Exotic Weapons Master at some point, but basically need to prestige because of the multiclass to save you from worrying about xp penalties if we make it to level 10 or so, and have another prestige class in mind for the bulk of my levels.

flaws are fine, only one prestige class at a time, but you can have as many as you want.

Is there is a list of flaws somewhere? I am not versed well in those, and Mikuru might as well have some.

And while we're at it

Since I took one of those too.

Which reminds me, does my trait lower my initiative by another 2 points? Not that I'm particularly concerned about that.

Work schedule (overtime today), time zone and a general inability to decide on items. That last bit's been cleared up, though due to the first two faults it'll roughly be another 17 hours as of this post until I'll be able to organise everything neatly and post again. Character's up now, thrall to be posted when I get home from work.

So, here's a new question:

It's canon in D&D that Succubi get to choose whether or not they get pregnant when having sex in female form.  I haven't been able to find out during my research on Alu-Demons whether they share this ability or not, however.

Would it be alright for Helli to also have this ability?  It would definitely make things a lot more convenient...
