Anyi tossed her long red hair back over her shoulders as she waited impatently for her friend. Her violet eyes shone brightly against her rather pale face, the giant black bow acomplishing a similar effect. She had chosen to wear tights with her skirt today, hoping to steer away the bitter cold of winter.
"If she doesn't hurry up we're both gonna be late..." She muttered as she eyed the crowd.
She was standing in the largest of the three courtyards, leaning against a large tree that stood proudly in the center. Its long sturdy branches reached out over the courtyard, causing it to seem as though it was a blanket during the summer.
Many of the other students tended to avoid Anyi, her odd sense of style and her eyes giving cause of worry for many people, especially those with a supersticious background. It was said that only the cursed were born with violet eyes. In no way, shape or form did she feel cursed; in fact, she was amazingly well off in life. Her father owned a large oil company and made a stagering $583,000 on average a year.
"Come on girl....I'm not gonna wait for you much longer..." Grabbing her phone from her backpack, she sent a text.Hey girl, where are you? Don't you know the final bell's about to ring? You've got 20 seconds to get out here or I'm going on to class without you!
