Please note that this question is NOT meant to offend anyone, nor am I poking fun, but I really am just trying to understand this terminology.

While I was filling out the acceptance questionaire, in the sexual orientation slot it mentioned "pansexual" and "omnisexual." Myself, being the researcher type, went to good ol' google looking for the answer. I am having trouble distinguishing the differences between pansexual, omnisexual, and bisexual. Is there a big factor that I am missing? Please help so I don't potentially accidentally offend someone in a role-play/discussion.

pansexual and omnisexual are largely the same.

They differ from bisexual in that their preference specifically includes 'other' genders (intersexed, hermaphroditic, etc), whereas bisexual is more of 'either male -or- female'.

Okay, the google definition was too vague. Thanks a bunch. I appreciate it!
