Query on Notifications

Can't find anything on this in settings, but might there be a way to get notifications -- either by email  or here at the top of the screen, as appear for messages --  when a new post has been made to a particular thread?

Modify Profile > Notifications

If you just want to see when your partners post on your games, you can always use the Bookmarks function.

Actually if you want to see only particular threads I'd use the bookmark function or the "notify" function at the base of the thread?
