Chronicles of Zhor

This is an interest check to see if anyone would be interested in a game set in the world of Zhor.

Zhor is a game based off of the 'Gor' novels. Before you roll your eyes and walk away, allow me to continue. I say 'based' on the books because I don't know all the fiddly details of the novels and we should have the freedom to adapt things as we want.

There are a few differences between 'Gor' and 'Zhor'. Unlike Gor, Zhor is not another planet. It is Earth in a parallel universe. The Overlords of Zhor have the means to travel between worlds. Also there are a few gateways that result in a few people from Earth crossing over.

The predominant technology on Zhor is primitive. However the rulers of Zhor (the Overlords) have access to advanced technology such as dimensional travel and genetic manipulation.

Slavery is common on Zhor. Most Earthers are considered slaves. Also those defeated or captured in war are often enslaved as well.

One other difference between Zhor and Gor is the inclusion of 'serum girls'. Rivals and prisoners are often given 'the Serum'. This serum works on both men and women. When given to a prisoner it transforms them genetically into a perfect slavegirl. It also has the effect of inducing her into a near permanent state of lust and desire.

If this game sounds interesting to you, please let me know. We will need slavers, slaves, masters, mistresses, etc. If there is enough interest, I will generate the game threads and get things rolling.

I would be interested in playing an Earthling brought, whether by accidentally finding a gate, or as a slave to Zhor. Have been wanting to give Gor or a Gor-theme a try.

What type of slave did you have in mind? Pleasure girl? Pleasure boy? Arena fighting slave?

Read thru the game information. Very nice. Just wondering how Earthers fit into things. I had been thinking of an Earther that got transported there. Maybe something like the "barbarian" girls on Gor?

Wow, I love the detail you have put up. I am interested, definitely. But, a question. I'm not very familiar with the world of Gor, having only read one book so far. Will that be a problem?

Not a problem. That is why I am making it the world of 'Zhor' and not the world of "Gor'. That way we have some room for mistakes and can do things as we wish.. (I haven't really read the books either.)

Once people start posting characters in the character roster thread, I will get the game moving.

Hmm... I was planning on playing a slave too... Not ready yet to try out being a master. I guess I'll just keep an eye on this, for now, until we get more masters!

Earthers are regarded as natural slaves... or at least potential slaves. They will be captured on sight unless they can prove that they are made of sterner stuff than most Earthers.

We definately need more players! By the way. Due to the nature of this game, it is very easy for a Master to become a slave.
