"Romanian? Are you quite sure Edmund?"

She decided to ignore his brief lapse into his acting once more because she hoped if she ignored it eventually he would get the message that it did not work with her and that he would sort of push that side of his nature far away when they were at least in private.

"If it is Romanian why would they be after such a ordinary doll? And do we have any information on the Lady yet or do we just have the surface details still?"

She did not actually look at him this time as she  spoke but had began to cut away some of the threads of the doll's dress very gently as she wished to see if this so highly sought doll had any more secrets to reveal to the pair. The dress came away easily and she had spare thread to be able to put it back together again when she was done. Though it was just as she was about to start unthread the cloth that contained the stuffing she heard too loud bangs from out side. She was just rising to her feet as the office door was forced open and crashed at the wall behind it.

Two large men entered the room one yielding a gun device and the other a large stick. Annabelle grabbed the dolly and slipped it under the desk while everyone seemed to be in a state of confusion.
