Scotch distillery turns whisky into watts

When I first read that headline, I was horrified; however, once I read the actual article, I realized the Scotch was still safe *wipes brow*

This is just one more reason for me to enjoy Scotch: it's saving the planet! (hyperbole intended)

Sounds like a good plan.  One more reason that I like Scotch.

One of the brands of sugar I prefer also uses it's waste biomas for electricity, and not only powers it's own facilities, but several houses as well.  At least according to the back of the box.  It's also less refined than most white sugars, leaving a bit more of the molasses flavor in, but less than brown sugar, which I'm sure cuts their electrical costs in the first place.

Ooh, tasty and environmentally responsible!  Sounds like a win-win.

I'm obviously drinking insufficient whiskey to uphold my end of the bargain.

*Puts down current alcoholic beverage in favour of a nice, smooth scotch.*
